I entered the mall and was taking pictures when a security guard approached and informed me that taking pictures was prohibited. Wow!. The guard was very polite and escorted me to the admin office. At the admin office, I spoke to Javier Roberto Amada, Chief of security, who was not too much of a people-person. He just said send an email to the address in the card (photo enclosed) to request permission. I only posted pictures from the exterior. Sor far this is the only mall that asked me to send an email in order to take pictures. The head of security didn't even ask for what the pictures were for. I would definitely NOT recommend this mall . What if a family has a b.day? What about a tourist? No Pictures. I understand security reasons, but this mall should be more understanding instead of sending the person to submit an email. I will send an email. To be continued... Please follow me. ...
Read moreI can't stand the new name of this mall. I used to call it Granahorrar Mall. It's a small mall compare to what people are used to see abroad. Most malls in Colombia are really for the movie theaters, the food court, the parking lot service and perhaps some stores that are international brands anyway. So don't expect a life changing experience from any mall in Colombia. They're crowded on weekends when families feel the need to watch soccer matches in the corridors where huge flat TV screens are hung instead of watching them at home this is usually done while seven people share one child's ice-cream. Malls are below the average in Bogotá and the huge kind of the Mall of America experience are located at places where traffic is hectic and places nearby not so safe for foreigners or...
Read moreA really artistic mall, the cinema here shows independent movies and art movies. The mall is compact and hence walking along is very easy compared to the bigger ones. The food court is decent with good food options. There are decent coffee options also. The view from the food court is very good. I would have loved if a lot more shops on Sundays are open. We were looking for buying a sun glass and Sunday is the only day when there is available time. However a lot of these shops were closed. That is my only complaint. The bathroom in the first floor is a pay to use bathroom and I support the idea. The maintenance is fair and allows for...
