Four seasons has 2 properties in Bogota. The landmark building was built in 1946. The decor, Art, furnishings give a cosy feeling of a home set in the mountains and you want to curl up and stay for a little while. I booked a Grand Premier Room through my Amex Platinum Fine Hotels+Hotels benefits which include: room upgrade when available, 12pm check-in, daily breakfast for 2, WiFi, late check out, $150 spa services credit. |The hotel recognized all but the room upgrade. The room I booked was beautiful. With a fireplace which the hotel will light for you upon request. Large tool with a beauty seating are, wood floors, huge closets, and of course the Four Seasons bed and bedding. The kind you don’t want to get of on the morning. The only downside was the TEENY TINY bathroom! 2 people sharing is impossible as only 1 person barely fits at a time. Great water pressure in the very dark shower, and great products, but, uncomfortable bathroom with a window to the building next door. |The room had no view either. An upgrade of same room with an actual view would have been wonderful and maybe a bathroom larger than a box. With zero counter space, which all women need. Maybe a shelf or cart of some sort would be good so as not to have everything falling in the sink because there’s no room on the bathroom counter. Toiletry amenities were standard for Four Seasons and expected. |Turn down service was average nothing special. When it’s is exceptional, the housekeeping staff tidies up the room and your toiletries have a linen placed underneath and cords get rolled up, sometimes a eye glasses cleaner under your glasses or a jewelry pouch under jewelry. Little touches that say this is Four Seasons service and you are special. None this happened so it was average. Room was dark anyway for lack of view so not a difficult task to close drapes and turn down the bed. |Breakfast buffet was incredible! The speakeasy in the basement had the best cocktails and ambience and I preferred hanging there. The courtyard with afire going was a great place to work and have a glass of wine or coffee. |I enjoyed the spa and the staff in the spa. Enjoyed the area and coziness of hotel and staff. Would have enjoyed an actual upgrade and a larger bathroom but I will...

A Truly Unique Setting Housed in a 1946 landmark designed by Santiago Medina Mejía, this former grand residence was later declared an official cultural monument. Its exterior of warm red brick, stone columns, and hand-carved wooden doors immediately oozes old-world charm.

Cozy Elegance & Bold Design With intimate spaces—fireplaces, wooden beams, vintage paneling—coexisting with modern furnishings and glass-roofed dining areas, the atmosphere is stunningly sophisticated without feeling cold.

Impeccable Service From cheerful bellmen and front-desk staff to the concierge who goes the extra mile arranging city adventures, service here reflects the Four Seasons hallmark of top-notch hospitality.

Culinary Delights in Casa Medina The hotel's signature restaurant Castanyoles, set under a lush atrium, serves elevated Spanish tapas and Colombian-inspired master dishes like octopus with native potatoes. Guests rave: “the restaurant was amazing!”

Luxurious Rooms to Unwind In Each of the 62 rooms is individually styled. Many feature fireplaces, spacious seating areas, and design touches that set the tone for a cozy yet luxurious stay. Beds are incredibly comfortable and Wi-Fi is fast for those working remotely.

Prime Location in Zona G Nestled in the city’s gourmet district, the hotel is surrounded by Bogotá's best restaurants and boutiques—all within easy walking distance. Plus, it's about a 45-minute ride from the airport—convenient and accessible.

☑️ Final Verdict Four Seasons Casa Medina delivers five-star excellence in every aspect—architecture, food, service, and ambiance. It's not just a stay, it's a deep-dive experience into Bogotá’s rich heritage wrapped in modern luxury.

We found this hotel based on the quiet neighborhood it was in and the reputation of The Four Seasons. When we checked in we were promptly greeted by two friendly bellman who helped us with our bags. Laura and another woman were working the front desk and welcomed us warmly and even persuaded us to upgrade our room. The suite was amazing with its various rooms and views and we felt very special. Our room included breakfast in the hotel where we spent each morning. Angie was the nicest waitress we have ever come across. She always greeted us with a smile and asked us how we were and how our night was and if we slept well. Since we were there for a week she really got to know us which was really great. Every morning I would look around for her before we chose our seats. She was wonderful. Every staff member at the hotel was above and beyond nice and friendly. The bellman, the restaurant, the speakeasy all super nice and helpful. We enjoyed the nightly turndown service and all the free bottles of water we were given. All the tiny details from the spa water and cookies in the lobby every day to little bookmarks left by the bed made our stay just wonderful. During the day the neighborhood is busy full of office workers and a younger crowd but after dinner everyone has gone home and the neighborhood is dead quiet and perfect for sleeping. We were happy to be in this neighborhood as opposed to Zona T or a more lively nighttime place. Again it was the staff that made our stay so special along with the amazing room. Wonderful experience...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Casa Medina in Bogota for two nights, and it is, without a doubt, the finest hotel in the city. From the moment you step into the beautifully restored building, you are greeted by a courteous staff ready to assist with anything you may need. The check-in process was seamless and quick. The hotel, nestled in a charming neighborhood, boasts its own unique entrances, adding to the sense of exclusivity and security. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the elegant décor and attention to detail. The bed and pillows were incredibly plush, providing a perfect sanctuary after a day of exploration. The shower experience was exceptional, featuring one of the best shower heads and water pressure I've encountered. All future showers will now be compared to this standard. The WiFi was robust and consistent throughout the property, which was a huge plus. The hotel's steam room offers a serene escape. For those seeking a more vibrant scene, a short walk will take you to nearby attractions. The fitness center was top-notch, equipped with everything you need for a great workout. All in all, the Four Seasons Casa Medina exceeded my expectations. This will undoubtedly be my go-to hotel whenever I return to Bogota. Stay here with confidence.

Simply amazing and beautiful 2 night stay and worthy of the Four Seasons branding! I honestly can't say this about some of the other properties I've visited! The other Four Seasons I've stayed and visited are Las Vegas, New Orleans, Kyoto, Punta Mita, and Langkawi. Went here for my first time in Bogota and also to celebrate my birthday! Love the attention to detail in terms of service and luxury. From the warm greetings of the bellman to the recommendations for dining from the front desk to the warm smiles at breakfast! Even the staff who lit up my fireplace at night or who brought us tea when they found out I was sick from motion sickness. The birthday cake to my room was a very nice touch. I also love the way you are able to communicate all your needs via Four Seasons app or whatsapp. The outdoor patio next to restaurant was beautiful and great place to smoke a cigar with a drink. I've stayed at a number of " luxury" hotels around the world and I would have to say this is in my top 3 stays! Great location, beautiful luxurious hotel, and excellent service! Thank you Four Seasons Casa Medina! I will return!

From the moment we stepped into the Four Seasons Bogota Casa Medina, we knew our visit would be nothing short of extraordinary. The hotel radiates charm and sophistication, yet it was the unparalleled customer service that truly enchanted us. Each staff member demonstrated exceptional dedication, going above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was flawless. A heartfelt shoutout to Leidy at the front desk, whose service was nothing less than remarkable! Her meticulous attention to detail, warm welcomes, and eagerness to assist with any request made us feel profoundly valued and well-cared for. Whether it was providing dining suggestions or arranging transportation, Leidy anticipated our every need with her ever-present smile. The ambiance of the hotel, paired with such committed service, crafted an unforgettable experience. It is rare to find a venue that not only meets but consistently exceeds expectations on all fronts. We eagerly anticipate our next visit, confident that we will encounter nothing less than perfection. Thank you, Four Seasons Bogota Casa Medina, for a genuinely delightful stay!
