Edgar is a great host. His place is very clean and is as shown in the AirBnB pictures. My room was on the second floor where there are 4 rooms. Two rooms have a bathroom inside the room and the other two rooms (My room) have its own private bathroom outside the room on the common space. The common space is very big and nice but is not airconditioned and so was hot. AC in my room worked very well and quite. It's not the loud Danby window AC. 10 minute walk to the click tower and 3 minute walk to the Trinidad Plaza. The area is very safe to walk at night and there are many polices around. It looks sketchy but it is safe. Just buildings are so old (historic) and so they don't look good from the street. But once I was inside the building, the place was clean and well maintained. They also offer a breakfast for COP 8000. Scrambled egg with three options (cheese or sausage or tomato & onions), arepa or bread & butter, and pineapple or banana and coffee. You can order it a night before and it was delivered to my room at the time when I wanted. Very accommodating and nice people (Edgar, Gretta (breakfast) and Matilde (cleaning))....

We stayed here for three nights. The location is very central so there’s always a lot going on and it’s easy getting to places by foot. It is within the party district so you need earplugs for the night. The room itself was clean, but tiny. There was no room service available or a warm shower, which is OK due to the fact that it will have at least 30° every day. The family that owns the house is nice and also lives there, so expect noise during the day and early in the morning. Since our room was located on the bottom floor and directly next to the kitchen, we could hear pretty much everything that...

Edgar and his wife and very friendly and helpful, very responsive to messages and my questions, and as a solo traveler I felt safe every moment.

The room is simple and small but for one person enough! It has tv, Fan and an airconditioner.. and in Cartagena both are needed!

I had a private bathroom which it was outside the room. My room was at the street side so it was quite loud some times. But I personally didn't mind because I liked to be located at the street and feel safe.
