Had dinner here twice, first time everything was fine, but the second time it was a nightmare where my husband and I ended up with terrible food poisoning. First, our lemonade tasted like dirt and had black specks in it which we didn’t notice until we had both drank it. We ordered apps and the both had the shrimp ceviche. The apps were fine (I think) but after eating some of the ceviche my husband noticed a shrimp Completely uncleaned. Huge black strip along the back. No doubt they mixed both of our ceviches together before serving. We notified the waitress but she didn’t offer to take anything off our bill just said she would tell the kitchen and had us pay. We have never left a place so fast in our lives
Editing to respond: Yes, I'm absolutely sure I am leaving a review for the correct restaurant. And I'm absolutely sure I am correct in what I saw and tasted. I am still suffering from the unclean shrimp and am appalled that you would insinuate that I am confused about where I ate. I have the charge on my statement from your restaurant and can tell you it was February 4th around 4pm during what looked like what seemed like a manager meeting...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant walking around town. From the outside it seems like a small building but once you walk in, it opens up to a beautiful fully open courtyard with a mango tree right in the center of it (a net is carefully placed to prevent any mangoes from falling unto anyone). The service was excellent from beginning to end, gracias Andres por tu excellente servicio😊. The food choices are wonderful filled either fresh seafood, fruits and veggies. Vegetarian, vegan and kid friendly.
We had a Mango ceviche to start with. We then shared the Bowl Caribeño and the Salade with fresh shrimps. Such wonderful wonders for your taste buds. The juices and drinks were also full of fresh fruits and tastes.
The courtyard is not fully covered so if it rains you might get a bit wet but the mango tree covers alot of the open space. The music was wonderful and not loud at all that we could hear both music while having conversations.
I am so happy we found this delicious restaurant. I highly...
Read moreI have been traveling around Colombia and just got to Cartagena. I got in a bit late so needed to find something open past 9. I found this place only a short walk from where I’m staying. Right when you walk in you feel such a relaxing but vibrant vibe. Guests just enjoying their drinks. The employees with smiles. Everyone was just so friendly. I tried the Mezcal Tommy from the signature cocktail list and it was awesome. It had that right blend of sweet and smoky from the Mezcal. For an appetizer I got the chicharrones. They were perfectly crispy and came with a great sauce. My entree was the pollo. I don’t think you can cook a pollo any better than they cooked it. My dessert was the brownie with ice cream. Honestly one of the best brownies I’ve ever had in my life haha. Even with my terrible Spanish everyone made me feel welcome. If you’re ever in the area you have to check this place out! It’s an amazing place with a...
