We couldn't even get a reservation. I usually don't write reviews, but their client service blew my mind. The person that answers the phone not only doesn't give clear information, she is also really rude.
My niece tried to do a reservation with a 2-week notice on the webpage. Since there was no confirmation she decided to call the next day, with me. The information given by the person who answered was really confusing.
First, she said that the system wasn't updated, so we had to wait until the same day of the reservation for the confirmation. Then my niece asked if they accepted reservations on the phone, and she said that they do, and the confirmation is instant, but she couldn't take the one from my niece, so she had to wait. Then she said they were full on the day we wanted to have the reservation (since 2 days ago) so we couldn't do it.Finally, she basically said that why was all the buzz about, that she now with her boss confirmed the reservation.
This was a complete misunderstanding, just for a reservation, and the whole information was given in a really rude way.
She also said my niece shouted at her, I was next to her, and she didn't. The woman attending the call was evidently under a lot of workload or stress, and we are also sorry that she has to be through it, but there is no reason to go on a rant on a client because of that. The woman attending the call was actually completely oblivious that she was the one actually raising her voice, and not letting my niece speak. In the end, I preferred the reservation to be canceled. I was looking forward to trying your food, the restaurant looks also really nice....
Read moreHad a great time here. Came for date night and it didn’t dissapoint. Atmosphere is lively, and there was a live Salsa singer on Saturday night. Service was fantastic.
Our waiter (Alejandro) recommended the lomo primavera and the fish de Ajio (or something like that lol). Also got the nachos for an entrada.
I will say the food here has a particular vibe. It’s very rich. My girlfriend loved it, and I did too, but I could definitely see it being too much for a certain palette. One of those places where I don’t think you can go wrong. You can pretty much point to a dish and it’ll be good.
Only thing I didn’t love - was how expensive the water was, ha. If you look at the receipt, it was the most expensive item we paid for. $20 for water seems excessive 😂
Will definitely be back, and next time see if they have some alternatives to the Peligrino bottles. But other than that small thing, the prices are very fair and felt like a great value for the...
Read moreLast night we went to this restaurant in our never ending quest to find good fish and shellfish in Medellin. The reviews are great and the photos looked delicious. We quickly learned from our waitress that the only fish they had was tilapia, bagre (farmed catfish) and farmed salmon. Nothing fresh, no quality frozen ocean fish.
Are they kidding. They bill themselves as a seafood restaurant and their prices are on the high end of Medellin restaurants and they only sell garbage fish? Tilapia and bagre are cheap as dirt and just as tasty. They are also unhealthy because they are produced without regulation and contain antibiotics, hormones and other chemicals.
The waitress tried to tell us that the sauces and preparation made up for the poor fish. We didn't buy her argument and left. The quest for good seafood in...
