An amazing place. During Summer on Friday night 7-11pm there is the Food Market event where you can try different cuisines from all around the world. It is the largest Municipal Garden in Nicosia. The area was purchased by decision of the Municipal Council in 1901 to form there the first Municipal Garden of the city which was named in honor of Queen Victoria, Victoria Garden.
It is located between Nehru Avenue, Museum and Kinyra Street, behind the House of Representatives. It was reconstructed in 1968-69 by the company Ioannou and Paraskevaidis LTD, with designs by the late Neoptolemos A. Michaelides and a contribution by Princess Zina Canther De Tyra.
