Came here for lunch and it was ok so we booked a table for dinner and reserved the one we liked the best. Arrived on time for dinner, and went to the table we reserved at lunchtime which has a reserved sign on it and sat down. The server asked why we were sat there as it was reserved. We said we know because we reserved it. He went away and came back and said we cant sit there as uts a table for 6 and theres only 4 of us. Anyway, after 2 or 3 conversations forming the basis of an argument, they reluctantly let us sit at the table even though the place was empty. Even the woman who reserved the table with us a few hours earlier didnt know why she reserved it for us . We would have stayed there but there was a waiter kept walking up and down where we were sitting and as he went past gave us really dirty looks.this is the bloke with the long straight hair, jacket and cravat, looked like count Dracula, Did it about 10 times, he was winding me up so we paid for the drinks and left. The looks we got from everyone who worked there on our way out was nothing short of intimidating . We went to another place where we were warmly welcomed and had a great night, good food and spent 150 euros which was their gain and To Anamma's loss. I hardly ever do a negative review when i have been to Cyprus or anywhere in Greece, but this place really does deserve it. Bad welcome, poor organisation, rude staff, absolutely would...

In a prime location of one of the liveliest pedestrian streets in Nicosia, this locale seems to be struggling to find a niche in their recipes, but not quite there yet. I have to be fair in saying that I've noticed several changes over time toward the better, but overall, the quality of the food recipes lacks authenticity. Still, some meals are better than others, while salads need more attention to freshness (and taste). The cosy and welcoming inner courtyard (covered) is far better than the front facade which resembles a fast food Kebab shop (maybe that's on purpose, I don't know...), and that's the reason I have passed it up for so long. The staff are courteous, zealous in their efforts to satisfy (my request for a drink not on the menu was met without a lot of fuss - as coincidence had it that the owner had the same drink for his personal use), and more so, attentive but not overbearing. Prices are decent enough (by comparison to many other similar places), but in respect to the above, I'd be happy to pay less. I wouldn't mind to go again as I especially like the inner yard, and I hope that this place...
Read moreThe personal is friendly and smiling, which is a big plus, although not professional since you have to tell them every time to bring salt, pepper, napkins etc. The place is very good located and central. I ate "gemista" (stuffed tomatoes with rice). The so called traditional cook of the restaurant does not know how to prepare them. For this dish we do not use rice for soup but a cracked rice. Otherwise this is not .the traditional gemista, something that a tourist can not know, but will possibly hate as a taste. The greek salad must include feta-cheese. As the majority of the restaurants, they replace the original feta cheese with a white cheese, which is cheaper. In this way it is not a Greek salad but a fake Greek salad. After the meal they kindly offer you a sweet free of charge, according to the greek philoxenia. Unfortunately for a restaunt under the name "traditional Greek restaurant" they offer you .... Panakota. This sweet was never a greek traditional sweet... The prices are good according to Cypriot standard, which normally are expensive. Unfortunately wifi does not function,...
