COCKROACHES nest - Nido de CUCARACHAS

The room was a cockroaches nest, we found many cockroaches coming out from various hols from the bathroom and sleeping room (under the bed). Due to my couple is very allergic to this kind of bugs we had to left at midnight the first day as we couldn't sleep there. Moreover, we called to the owner and he even didn't say "sorry". The check in wasn't the proper one as the owner gave to another couple ours room keys without writing down any information from my passport and I had to pushed him to do the check in properly and register my passport information, which was writing down in a notebook which was alone on the tables door in the entrance (the door from the entrance was open and wasn't people there taking care about the information from the guests). The cleaning from the room was horrible: dirty couches, towels and pillows, mold and humid into the room and walls. Also the terrace from the accommodation was full of thrash and everything was a mess. La habitación era un nido de CUCARACHAS. Encontrar varias cucarachas andando a sus anchas por la habitación y el baño y cuando fui a matarlas se escondieron por unos agujeros del baño y de la habitación (justo debajo de la cama). La cosa es que mi pareja es muy alérgica a las cucarachas, así que en mitad de la noche nos tuvimos que ir y buscar otro alojamiento en el último momento. Además, llamamos al alojamiento para informar que de que nos íbamos e incluso informamos de la alergia de mi pareja y no se dignaron ni a pedir perdón. No hicimos un "check in" en condiciones ya que el propietario les dió nuestras llaves a otra pareja que también estaba haciendo el check in y se estaba largando cuando tuve yo que decirle que teníamos una reserva y "obligarle" a que tomara nota de mis datos (escritos en un cuaderno sin vigilancia y con la puerta de la calle abierta). La habitación estaba sucia: sofás, toalla y almohadas sucias, moho y humedad en la habitación. La terraza llena de basura y...

Very unprofessional we went there at 9pm no reception no front desk and we couldnt contact with anyone to check in face to face, they dont even offer water and we had to buy water at 3am from a kiosk , the rooms are not clean at all, full of mold, dirty towels and floor mats, very rude they dont change the sheets, there was mold in the mini fridge, the kettle was already used and there was water with corrosion and salts in it, full of bugs the room had a smell of mold all the time, each room has different sizes of TV and our was the smallest.They don’t specify the check out time and they call you yelling

We had a fabulous 2 night stay in this lovely, authentic Cypriot Hotel. |The hotel is situated right in the centre of old Nicosia, right next to the buffer zone. |The hotel is full of beautiful furniture and antiques which really add to the ambience of the hotel. |We received a great welcome from the hotel owner (a very kind, helpful and respectful gentleman). |Our room was very well appointed with great air conditioning and a big comfortable bed. Our room had a little enclosed balcony which was a lovely addition.
