Our family always enjoys visiting here. The Promenade itself features mostly restaurants and tourist shops. The view is beautiful. At one end is the Paphos Castle, and a small beach right beyond that. The restaurants, as you'd expect, have higher prices than those further from the beach. Some locals pack a lunch from someplace like Zorbas, then eat it as they sit on the wall by the beach. Parking is free - it's always crowded, but we always manage to find a spot. From here it's a short walk to other great sites like St. Paul's Pillar, and the Catacomb of St. Solomoni. Read moreA lot of money has been invested in bringing this stretch of Promenade up to date. Now very smart and trendy. The shopping part of it is now pedestrian with the restaurants and bars at the Harbour and Fort end. There is loads of parking in the big car park, several taxi ranks and lots of buses. A nice way to walk off your dinner in the evening with all the boats in the Harbour lit up. Many different boat trips are on sale from the kiosks along the route.
