The Harbour — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

Terrible terrible terrible. Awful meal, awful service, rude staff and an all round waste of money. Firstly, plastic was found in the calamari which was part of the fish platter (frozen and tasteless along with the rest of the food). Burgers were greasy and tasted like horse meat served with a poor excuse of french fries. Swordfish..more like boardfish. The coleslaw was rancid. My Nan could have made better..and she died in 1996! Best thing about the meal was the free bread roll..and even that was something my mum cooks on a Sunday morning.

The staff were slow and not friendly. One girl did apologise but all others were rude and not welcoming. No one asked if our meal was ok..but they probably knew the answer already.

There are plenty of lovely restaurants to eat at which are a lot cheaper and a lot nicer along the harbour. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Only positive is the fact we are...

Visited this shop today with my family. We were 5. One waiter chose a table for us but it under the sun, and as she left immediately, we asked another waiter if we could sit somewhere with shade. He indicated another table. An EXTREMELY RUDE lady (I’m guessing their superior), in a very offensively impolite way said that we could not sit there as it was a table for 4 and her colleague had prepared another table for us and we should have taken it! I explained another colleague allowed us to sit on a table in a shade as the previous one would leave us under the very warm sun. Her behavior was unexcusable, unacceptable and completely humiliating. Not even an apology. It made us feel unwelcome in the shop, so we chose to leave and have food somewhere else. I live in Paphos, work with foreigners and won’t recommend this...

I ordered the lamb kleftiko which from my experience is lamb slow cooker with baby onions, garlic and sometimes potatoes, what I got was a plain lamb shank, which was previously cooked then frozen because it was still frozen in the middle by the bone, I pointed this out and the food was taken away, i was not offered something else instead which would have been the descent thing to do, but the same lamb was returned to me about five minutes later after being zapped in a microwave/combi oven, although it was now well heated through it was still not a kleftiko... my partner had a lovely looking plate of fish and chips and we still payed full price....no discount offered either....that's why I've only given them four stars because a little more customer care goes a long...
