yes ... how was it? Transport small shuttle buses that are filled to the last seat. we had V.I.P. Tickets $ 165 per person (drinks included) but that only matters later !!! I expect better shuttle. and not all hotels clatter. arrived doors open and out. you have to find the right way yourself. from normal ticket premium ticket vip ticket vip with space and all drinks ticket. and the switch was not even occupied at this switch there were still all international and premium liquor bottles. I had to go to another counter and there I was dispatched to three others at the same time. I booked online had to have my booking printed out at. on vacation booking printout 🤣😂 furthermore, I and my companion needed the identity card and credit card with which I had booked. this was traced on a sheet with a pencil. although the lady had a list where everything was already noted. 3 signatures were required from me and a signature from my companion. I ask what is all this for? was i on my way to the papal election and was Donald Trump in this building too? but it went on to our seats, there were 5 checks bags wristbands. So now I had booked the places on the Internet it was very easy in the vip area first row in the middle !!! we were supposed to sit on the edge vip first. I said that these were not my seats and went on to my seats and sat down. I was told that it would not be possible. I showed my booking to place 12 u. 13 and stayed seated. it didn't exactly work out with the seats and the ushers had 4 Russian blondes that they wanted to accommodate there. I stayed stubborn. Order drinks? Everything ran around like startled chickens. then I got a waiter to grab. ordered a bottle of Jack Daniels and a bottle of Bombay with tonic and cola. he brought a bottle of Johnny Walker Red! and a bottle of beefeater gin i told him that was wrong. he said there was only that. but have already seen what I wanted at the counter. the volume was so loud that you had to shout a lot and still understood very poorly. I asked for the drinks card. which I then 5min. later picked up from the bar itself. I showed the waiter what I wanted, who explained to me that these spirits were not included. he wanted another $ 170 per bottle. that's nepper tractor peasant catcher. I took the regular program because I was unwilling to pay over $ 300 again. I always had to beg for everything else. Bottle cooler, served, ice cream, soft drinks, ice cream supplies. We mixed the drinks ourselves. You should explain to the employees what V.I.P. is. there were animations with characters for the photo. which was later offered for € 35. Usury. Slightly dressed girls went around with spirits and wanted to sell them for 5 € 2cl. If you didn't want to, you should buy the girls' schnapps. The show was terrific super show great effects that was very professional rarely seen such a good show. Back we then took a taxi to avoid spending on the bus with...
Read moreI just went to Coco Bongo a few days ago and I don't get the hype. We were there with a group and all bought the general admission ticket. This review is only based on general admission. Here's my take:
The good- The shows were really well done and the performers were great. You get a mix of about a dozen different things from Beetlejuice, 300, moulan rougue, Queen, and others. Most of the shows were about 10 minutes with dancers from the crowd on stage in between. The smoke, confetti, lights, and music kept the energy high.
The bad- Although drinks are "unlimited" don't count on actually getting one. There's one bar and you aren't getting anywhere near it. You aren't getting the "snack" either. That became a running joke in our group for the rest of the trip. I'm a pretty well built, ex-military guy and I didn't feel safe trying to get to the bar or anywhere else inside coco bongo.
The ugly- This place is dangerously crowded. I'm not talking about a crowded bar in a big city. I'm talking can't move an inch in any direction crowded. They pack you in like sardines. It's also insanely hot. You pray for the fog machine to blow so you can at least feel a little air on your face. If there were ever a fire in that place, everyone would die. And just like alcohol, you won't be getting any water. The people inside were super sketchy and didn't have any issues violating your personal space. Thankfully, I carried a shoulder bag or I would have been worried about being pickpocketed all night. If you have anxiety, this place is the best (worst) exposure therapy you'll ever get.
I'm glad we went and checked the box, but I wouldn't ever recommend it to anyone and definitely wouldn't go again. We left before the show ended. We went to Imagine a couple days later and it was a wayyyy better experience...
Read moreFYI im not a karen im in my twenties and rarely complain, i just want people to be aware. We went cancun coco bongo in 2022 and thought it was amazing! However before we even got into coco bongo punta cana it was disappointing. Fo reference we paid $80.00 USD in cancun (inclusive of transport, seats, food, open bar) In punta cana we paid $85.00 USD for transport and open bar. To then be demanded money for the guy getting our drinks (we understand tipping and would have given a generous one for the service, but to pay that much for less in punta cana than what we got in cancun and still be asked for more money was a joke. We was too crowded and upon complaining to a member of staff that we couldn’t move and everyone was annoyed as drinks we’re constantly spilling, he responded with “we over book on weekends”. We and others were pestered with shot girls trying to upgrade us to GOLD MEMBER VIP for and extra $160.00 USD. We overheard and witnessed young girls getting VIP service for free or less than others were offered, from begging and pleading to the male staff. I was being offered rubbish seating for too much excess, again in Cancun we had a perfect experience for the same price, it seemed this place just wanted more money out of you, where as cancun was accommodating for the price you paid. The line we waited in was 30 mins long just to get in. Women were getting told they would be upgraded for free if they were lucky, whilst ourselves and others in couples were being demanded to pay to sit and rest our feet. The atmosphere was good, show was similar to cancun so cannot fault them for this. However i did tell staff, cancun’s service & experience was so much better. The show and act’s atmosphere was brilliant! However just go Cancun, they will treat you right and...
