La Terraza Punta Cana — Restaurant in Higüey

The place has a nice vibe for a drink, but the service was disappointing. I ordered a beer and it was brought unopened. When I signaled for it to be opened, the waiter just handed me the bottle opener so I could open it myself. I found this disrespectful, since you’re paying for a service and shouldn’t have to open your own drink. On top of that, he repeatedly called me “mi pana,” as if we were buddies at a party or coworkers, when I was just a paying customer.

The food didn’t meet expectations either. I ordered a salmon fillet with mashed potatoes—the salmon didn’t taste fresh, and the mashed potatoes were overly salty, dry, and had the texture of reheated leftovers.

To top it off, the bottled water was more expensive than the beer. Overall, I wouldn’t return. The experience doesn’t justify the prices...

Merci à Enerolisbeth de nous avoir accueilli et servi, on a commandé le bistec aux oignons et le pollo à la plancha, que j’ai trouvé assez simple pour son prix mais pas mauvais, les portions ne sont pas très grosses mais ça reste acceptable. Nos viandes étaient servies avec une sorte de sauce verte un peu amer…. Ça a prit assez de temps à être servi vous avez le temps de finir vos cocktails..mais l’ambiance a un peu compensé

Quant aux boissons, nous avons prit une michelada et un mai tai, il y a eu un gros malentendu sur les boissons mais Enerolisbeth a géré ça pour nous comme elle pouvait . Les taxes ne sont pas incluses dans les prix..

Une michelada vient avec une bière corona et u présidente, mais ils ne vous disent pas qu’ils chargerons la Michelada 300pesos et la bière 250 pesos. Tout comme le mai tai 450 pesos, et elle ne dit que ça vient avec une Michelada normalement, je lui demande si c’est a part comme deux cocktails séparé elle me dit non je paie le prix du mai tai et ça vient avec une michelada… mais au moment de payer elle me charge UNE MICHELADA + UN MAI TAI .. bref je lui ai parlé et elle l’a réglé pour moi mais faites attention à vos reçu *
