It’s a movie theater 🎭 the theater has nice comfortable seating with a nice large screen. I’ve never seen a movie in Spanish so that was cool. The downside of my visit- 1. the concession stand wait time was absolutely too long…the line was outside of the building, the employees working behind the counter were very nonchalant with no urgency in helping to get the line down. They were talking and laughing with each other like there wasn’t any customers in line trying to get to their movie on time. Once I get seated in the theater, customers were still coming into the movies 30 mins after the movie started because of the long line 😔😔😔😔😔😔 2. After the long concession wait it was now time to go into the theater and the employee taking the tickets to enter told me to hold on a second so he could answer his cell phone! 😡☹️ are you serious señor??? Like really!?!?! I waited in a long line to buy snacks then I have to wait while you answer your phone!!! Oh hell naw! The customer service needs much improvement...

The staff here is horrible, including the management as well as corporate office! They are rude and don’t care at all if the customers enjoy their experience in the least bit! Not to mention, they refuse to show any children’s movies in English as according to them “most children here speak only Spanish”. Obviously they haven’t done any market research or fail to realize that Bavaro/Punta Cana has a growing expat community with a number of bilingual schools in the area. The cinema was a great place to get away and watch a movie on vacation. We went twice to see movies in English. The movies had Spanish subtitles so if they were not speaking English in the movie there were no English subtitles to go with it. I would avoid certain movies if you know they are not completely in English and you do not know Spanish. The theatre and washrooms were clean.
