Patchi — Attraction in Cairo

PLEASE AVOID SHOPPING HERE - you can also get Patchi at the Cairo airport if you really really really want.

Although hearing a lot about the negative feedback on the arrogance and contempt of the staffs at the Patchi Store in City Star Mall, we still visited the store as I had good experience with the Patchi staffs in Dubai and really like the chocolates. Unfortunately, the staffs in the store at 4:50pm, 31 Dec 2024 were as unhelpful, arrogant, and contemptuous as what was described on social media. All the 3 staffs literally ignored my partner and I as if we were invisible in the store, and pretended they could not hear us. They were just chatting loudly and rudely among themselves for almost 10 minutes without doing their jobs properly.

We have submitted a complaint with the photo of the 3 staffs (2 men and 1 lady) to the Patchi HQ in Dubai. Such attitude and contempt should never be tolerated and accepted. Hope the tourists seeing my comment can just skip the store to avoid wasting your brain cells to get...

I recently visited the Patchi store at Citystars Mall in Cairo, and unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. The staff ignored us from the moment we entered, and when we asked to sample some chocolates (after already purchasing some), a staff member named Muhammed refused, saying the chocolates were too expensive. However, we saw him offering samples to another customer, an Arab woman, which felt very unfair and possibly discriminatory.

The overall service was confusing, as no one explained how to pay, weigh the chocolates, or make a purchase. Muhammed was rude throughout, even angrily throwing chocolates onto the scale during weighing. To top it off, we were refused an extra shopping bag, while local customers were given additional bags without issue. This treatment made us feel very unwelcome as foreign visitors....

Location is nice. Place is spacious & well lit. Product diversity is amazing. There is something here for everyone.

Staff is a little bit weird, did not like them.

Patchi’s renowned chocolate tastes Patchi! That is to stay for its target market, it’s very suitable.

Always a nice backup plan in case you forgot/can’t get a personalized gift, get Patchi: almost everyone will like it.
