OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!! I was with them for the 4 day omo valley Addis city tour wenchi lake and subi forest. Words can’t describe the above and beyond of the above and beyond customer service. It was more than that. I’m a solo attractive natural born woman and I never felt violated or threatened. They are completely professional and welcoming. Ask and you shall receive. Expect and know that you will never touch your bags (unless you request) from the time of pick up to drop off. These guys are ALWAYS not just on time but before time. I couldn’t believe how they were always ready! Lol they have a water cooler in the car and port that can charge up to 4 devices! Men truly can show their colors when an attractive woman is traveling alone and they were nothing but respectful attentive and pure royalty. Aman is the owner niko is the driver and abibi is the co pilot\helper. in Addis- the boss wasn’t around and let me tell you it got even better. These men are so attentive respectful and welcoming. The love that I felt and experienced is unmatched and I’ve been to 28 countries. I can’t say enough good things about Ashe and Mesay. These gentlemen are absolutely top tier and there is nothing I would change about them. I’m grateful to have found them and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! You can’t and won’t go wrong with this company. These men are beyond top tier and I’m grateful I found this company. If you want the best time of your life go with them.

Mesay is an excellent and safe driver. He knew exactly where to go and the quickest and safe way of getting there. Ashu and masay have an excellent rapport and that makes the ride even more enjoyable. They are able to work together to make sure you never have to worry :) the city is very busy but you will feel at peace the whole time. We drove as far as 3 hours and the ride was extremely smooth even the roads weren’t always lol. I was never jolted into the air lol or had whiplash. You know some drivers are bad lol but that was never the case with Mesay. I had all of my luggage in the car while doing the city tour and Mesay made sure he was in the car and guarded my belongings. This was very important to me and it was already scheduled to be that way I didn’t have to ask.

The guiding professionalism knowledge and care was a...

The Heart of Ethiopia Has a Name: Yihun and Sisay

We spent 20 days traveling through Ethiopia — a country as fascinating as it is complex. But what truly made this journey unforgettable was experiencing it alongside Yihun and Sisay. They weren’t just our guide and driver; they were the soul of our trip, and choosing to travel with them was the best decision we could have made.

Yihun is the kind of guide every traveler dreams of: deeply professional, always attentive, and with a calm presence that makes you feel safe from the first moment. His knowledge of the country — its history, its culture, its people — is vast, and he shares it with passion and respect. He made sure every single day went smoothly, shielding us from scams and inconveniences, and ensuring we could simply enjoy and learn. But above all, he’s a kind, generous, and honest human being. I brought back many memories from Ethiopia, but his friendship is by far the most precious.

Sisay, our driver, was another gift. In a country where traffic rules seem to be merely suggestions, he was a constant source of safety and peace of mind. He drives skillfully and carefully, always with a big smile on his face. He kept us entertained during long drives, shared the music and rhythms of each region, and was equally curious and open to hearing music from our own country. His joy, warmth, and attentiveness made him much more than a driver — he became a beloved travel companion.

Ethiopia can be a challenging destination, but thanks to them, it felt welcoming, human, and full of light. They showed us their land with pride, dedication, and a level of humanity that’s rare to find. By the end of the trip, saying goodbye brought a lump to our throats and the certainty that we were leaving behind two real friends.

If you’re thinking of traveling to Ethiopia, do it with them. They are exceptional professionals and even better people. Thanks to Yihun and Sisay, we didn’t just discover a country — we...

From all the tour operators that I traveled; Aman Ethiopia Tours was the best! The trip was a real tour de force, with more than 6000 km traveled in 15 days, from north Danakil to Omo Valley in south. And everything was just perfect during this time – some of the best hotels, good places to eat, frequent breaks for relaxation and clean windshield for us to take pictures during this road trip that included most of the highlights that the country has to offer. Also, their partner guides, like the ones that we had at Lalibela churches or Gondar castle, were surpassingly passionate about the places that they were representing, knowledgeable and having answers to all our questions.

The drivers (Niko and Neway) not only that they were professional ones (driving is a serios deal in Ethiopia) but they were kind, friendly and funny, and they brought a great vibe to the whole trip. They gave me the feeling that we are all a group of friends traveling together, not that they are at their job transporting customers. Besides that, they were always there if we had any kind of problems (like the time when my sandals broke and Niko searched on his own for a shoe repair point). Also, I loved the fact that they were respectful and polite with the locals and with the ethnic groups. And that they took a lot of pictures for us 

For sure the tour operator that you chose has a great contribution to the success of your trip, and these guys had their share in the fact that I loved so much this country. Thank you! For sure I will choose them again and I will recommend them to anyone who wants to visit Ethiopia. It’s that kind of operator that will go an extra mile for...

My wife and I had a wonderful trip with Aman and Mesay (best driver in Ethiopia). I gave him some key places we wanted to see and he customized a 15 day itinery for us that included the Northern part of Ethiopia (Bahir Dar,Gondar, Simien mountains, Axum, Hawzen, Mekele, Lalibela) and we also added in a 3 day trip to the Danakil depression, Awash national park and Harar. We drove the entire trip as recommended by Aman (except for the flight back to Addis) and it was well worth it as we got to see all the beautiful landscapes Ethiopia has to offer. Throughout the trip he would always check in with us to make sure everything was ok or if we needed a break, needed water or anything. We also made some last minute changes to our itinerary to allow us to visit Debre Damo and Abuna Yemata Guh which Aman took care of for us with no issues Aman was a great guide. He picked out wonderful local places for us to eat so we could try out some real Ethiopian food. I think we were able to try pretty much everything they had to offer from roasted goat to lamb to chicken to shiro. What we loved the most is that Aman would make stops for us to try local drinks such as Tella and honey wine and also try local fruits (Guava, banana, papaya) and foods (beans, corn, barley) while driving through different regions. We hope to see the South of Ethiopia and we would definitely want Mesay and Aman for our guides
