Activ' Annecy — Attraction in Annecy

We had a super experience with Activ’ Annecy, enjoying a day packed with horse riding, kayaking on the lake and paragliding. We hired a car for the day.

The 2hr horse ride in the morning was excellent. The stables were very clean, the horses were in excellent condition and very well cared for. We had a beautiful ride through the woods and town. The ride was good for beginners as well as experienced riders as there were opportunities to trot and canter on very safe horses.

We then grabbed lunch at the snack bar before heading to the 1hr kayaking session. This was lovely and relaxing. We enjoyed watching the paragliders in the air and the mountain views.

Next, we went paragliding which was an incredible experience. The views are stunning. I don’t particularly like heights but my guide was super friendly and helpful and made the experience so memorable. Very professional team.

My husband and I had an AMAZING time paragliding with Activ' Annecy!! I paraglided in Annecy 15 years ago and was finally able to take my husband to Annecy to do it with me. I didn't make a reservation in advance of my trip just because I was busy with other things, so I was worried I wouldn't get us a spot. The Activ' Annecy website was really easy to navigate as an English speaker. I plugged in our info and desired day/time, and just had to wait for a response confirming our spot. They responded so quickly and were able to communicate via Whats App.

Getting to the paragliding spot was super easy and they gave good instructions on what to expect/what you might need. The instructors were a lot of fun - super friendly and happy people. From take-off to landing, we had a blast....

I had a really good experience with Activ’ Annecy! I did paragliding. But I made a mistake when I started to fly 😭 I should’ve run but somehow I couldn’t! (Maybe I was so nervous 😬) but my best pilot Armend, (Sorry, if I don’t remember your name correctly) he’s so professional pilot so he saved my life! (I’m still so sorry about that 🥹) We flew safely and I really enjoyed that! He kept me happy and checked me if I’m okay. The weather was perfect to paragliding too.
