Very quirky museum, exactly what should be expected! Loved the location as well, although it was a bit out of the way (from Vieux Ville took M2 to Fabron, then walked around 15 minutes to the location) The only thing that is missing, that I find it is universal to French museums, no nice printed information about the location, exhibitions, ownership, history, etc. Went as a family of four, two teenagers, had a lovely time. The ladies at the reception were lovely. There was no charge for under 18s, which made a total of 10 euros. Compared to the UK, this is a bargain

After many years of living in Nice, just went today for the first time to this museum and I loved it. Beautiful grounds and building, small enough to visit in about 1 hour. Free parking in the garden is a plus. There's currently (till 05/24) an excellent special exhibition on the local niçois artist Ben, which is very interesting. One needs to have a special sense of humour to appreciate (and a good knowledge of french too) ...

If you like naïf art, then this museum is definitely worth visiting, even though it is fairly small. It might be confusing to enter, as the front gate you need to drive through is locked (as a result of vigipirate). You have to press a buzzer and ask the person to open it, allowing you to drive in an park (parking is free). The only negative aspect is that the people working there are not very friendly or helpful (for whatever reason, most people working at Nice museums are like this). The entrance fee is 10 euros (free if you are a resident). The gift shop is almost non-existant, and there is no cafe in at the museum, or in the...

The museum is decent, the collection is small and currently only one floor out of two can be visited (for the full ticket price, which is not cool but anyway). The building is itself super nice. What is very strange is that you have to ring the gate bell to visit and there's no way to exit (to ring again) unless they open from inside. In our case, even though we were the only 3 visitors there, somehow they didn't notice us so I had to walk back inside and ask them to open the...
