It's terrible as always. It's a dirty place. To the point of disgusting. I dare not sit under pigeons or stand at a table that I didn't clean myself. The floor is sticky. There is is garbage lying around everywhere. The phone charging poles and other options do NOT work. So, for the overpriced everything, do I even get the minimum of service and comfort. One option only "NO!" After all these years it's about time the French airport management of Nice Aéroport learns how to provide service. And make an effort to at least pretend to give value for money. Please note: It's honorable to be of service. It's welcoming to be of service. It's positive and uplifting to be if service. It's good to be of service. It's satisfying to be of service. ... Be of service!... Please?

Half a year later... A group of pigeons flying so low, people feel the turbulence in their hair. Remember, they're dirty birds, carrying lice and other vermin betww their feathers. Charging is still a hassle. USB ports have the lowest charging capacity imaginable or are not working. There's not enough outlets for those who wait.

One year later. July 3rd 2025. On the surface it looks better because many things have been renewed. But again, I'm being confronted with the late shift. Beauty is only skin deep. The renewed men's toilet stinks of piss. The hand blowers don't work and there's no alternative. Where to dry mu hands? When I enter "La Plage" at about 20:30 hours, there's no room to sit. Not because all seats are taken but because all, and I mean every (!) table is stacked with food rests, dirty dished and glasses. And a team of 3 men stand behind the counter and... talk? I have a video recording of this, proof. I the main hall, parasols have been set up. Admittedly I don't see any pigeons but the parasols are stained with bird droppings. The only thing that seems to work is the charging stations for phones. But what definitely has not changed is that the staff has no clue of how to be of service. We can and do order a cocktail at 21:40, which in hindsight is past opening time. But by the time we have it, they tell us they're closing and we have to finish the drink in 5 minutes. Absolutely clueless. Oh, and they work at an airport... but don't speak English. So glad I have some command of the French language. Unlike some guests... So, to answer the question: "Is there improvement?" My answer: "Only on the surface. But the question about service... There is no improvement whatsoever."
