The worst lounge in the world – Infinity Lounge, Nice Airport (NCE)
Terrible experience. The front desk staff is completely unqualified and has no understanding of how DragonPass access via MasterCard works.
I showed the staff member the app clearly showing that I have access to Infinity Lounge. Instead of simply checking me in, she told me to go to Levity Lounge, claiming that “they accept DragonPass, not us.” We clarified multiple times that our access was specifically for Infinity Lounge, but she insisted: “Go there, they will let you in.” To reach Levity Lounge, one must go through passport control (Terminal B). Once we got there, the staff informed us that DragonPass is not accepted, and told us to return to Infinity Lounge. However, to go back to Infinity Lounge, passport control clearance must be canceled, which is completely absurd and breaks basic airport logic. These kinds of staff members are a disgrace to the entire lounge system. Their incompetence and lack of professionalism cause serious inconvenience and mislead travelers. Such employees should be immediately dismissed. A message to DragonPass and MasterCard: Please pay attention to this lounge and reconsider your partnership. It damages your reputation and deeply disappoints your...
Read moreAccess to the lounge is only allowed 2 hours before flight departure. Curiously, you can only check-in/drop off your luggage 2 hours before the flight . Considering the lines of the check-in area PLUS the waiting in the security zone, realistically one can enter the lounge only 1h30min before the flight departure, not 2 hours (this happened to me). Moreover, airlines usually open the gate for boarding 30 minutes before flight departure. This means I had to leave the lounge early to walk to the gate. All in all, I spent less then an hour at the lounge. It felt a bit of a scam. That one hour was definetly not worth 35 euros.
About the lounge itself, the drink options are good, but the food is bland and buffet did not impress. I probably could have eaten better downstairs in the foodcourt. There was also no dessert option when I was there. That said, the staff were friendly and I have nothing to complain about the comfort and cleaness. But I cannot recommend the lounge based on my experience. If I were you, I would save the 35 euros and get something nice at the dutyfree with...
Read moreI used the lounge for the first time yesterday, early 7am. The staff was courteous and helpful, always smiled when we interacted. The breakfast buffet is still offered, except you cannot serve yourself during CoVid times, you simply ask for what you want and they will give it to you. The selection was as varied as one would expect; there were no hot foods (e.g., eggs), but lots of cheese, meats, different types of croissants, cereals, yoghurt, fruits, juices, etc. As a tea drinker, their tea on offer is of very high quality; would recommend. Certainly enough food for anyone to still have a satisfying meal. The lounge is very beautiful with the calming white decor, soft lights and plants. It gives a peaceful atmosphere to relax; the air was just the right temperature to feel fresh, the hanging/swinging chairs were a nice touch. The lounge is large so you can easily find a small spot for some quiet away from anyone. Wifi worked great. I am not sure what all of the bad reviews are about... maybe it was due to the time of the day of others' visit. But my visit was...
