On the positive side the rocks and minerals in the museum are well chosen, organized, and truly impressive. Especially the giant ones near the entrance. On the negative side this museum is really just one room, so it is much smaller than I thought and than is expected given the entry price. All signs are in French only so for foreigners there is really just the beauty of the rocks to take in and nothing much to learn. The explanatory panels that are there are very text heavy - even the digital ones and could not get my kids excited. In general the museum does not make any effort to cater to kids. There is nothing to touch, nothing to help them see the rocks higher up, no panels to explain phenomena in kids friendly terms or that put things in relation to what kids know or understand. I rated the museum still high because it is modern and the rocks/minerals are impressive but I did take a point off for lack of effort to fulfill the museum's...
Read moreThe collection of stones is magnificent. This museum is made up of several thematic spaces (their classification, the large stones, the colors, the shapes, the stones of meteorites, etc.) which present the most beautiful stones and their diversity. The presentation is of high quality with written explanations and videos. The classification of stones is presented. The geology and evolution of the earth is not presented. The museum is playful and we saw the smile of the children in front of the spectacle of these stones. It usually takes 1 hour to visit this museum. We took 2 hours. Excellent. Weak point. They do not care about the diversity of their customers, that include foreigners, and would not contribute to Franceâs influence abroad: All is in French. I give a 4 instead of a 5 stars...

Nevertheless the bad reputation of the Parisians was confirmed by the rude and unfriendly attendance of the employees of the Museum who do not know the value of a simple smile. Historically, they have stolen the treasures of Brazil and now charge tourists from all over the world, including educators to appreciate the stolen treasures and still charge dearly to appreciate what was stolen us, minerals, plants and animals...
