Never put your feet in the BARSAC Boutique located at Galerie du Marché BIRON, 85, rue des Rosiers, 120, avenue Michelet, 93400 Saint -Ouen. He is a crook and a very dishonest man. I gave him three of my pieces of furniture to repair (remove the damaged varnish and repolish and put a varnish back and restore them). He made them all more damaged than before. He cracked and split one of the doors on my furniture which now doesn't close properly and there are lots of little white stripes on the other door. Subsequently the varnish he put on the furniture was done by someone who knew nothing about his job (black stains everywhere, a real disaster). All of this also cost me a fortune and I probably have to spend even more to be able to repair them properly one day. Either way, I'm so sad to have trusted Camille François BARSAC and advise everyone to be very careful when going to repair your beautiful furniture. You really have to do your research and give it to real professionals...
Read moreSome super little stores and anrique finds. The patrons on the other hand make navigating the prices and haggle difficult. Most of the folks we encountered were openly hostile and taking a picture to validate the authenticity of the item makes things worse. While I would recommend going it does come with the caveat that there are other places and until all of the vendors better understand customer service I would avoid. It is such a shame and spoils the experience and opportunity for genuine buyers...
