It is a great place to visit if your a marvel fan, my son loves this area and could spend all day here, might I however make a small suggestion. The characters are great entertainment for everyone but most of the time they are hurried off so quickly that the is no hello or anything. Children that are really into marvel are left slightly disappointed because they can’t say a quick hello or anything, the only characters that are actually out to do meet and greets are the wasp and ant man, they main ones are hidden away or rushed. I like the fact that for spider-man there is a virtual que type thing as he is the most popular but ideally there needs to be a little more to it, Thor and Loki never have anything apart from a small performance and then if your lucky enough you can catch a very very quick hello but then they are rushed off, the others are always on the roof, my son was bitterly disappointed by Captain America due to waiting patiently for a quick hello but everyone who rushed in got a turn instead, there’s no system like Disney has, where there is a que line or booking in place for any of the mains. The staff are also constantly moving you out the way, yes I understand it is for everyone’s safety but I can not express enough that this is really the only opportunity that kids have to meet their...
Read moreYeah, 2 stars because even if this is a brand-new park, I got to say that I didn't feel the immersion. There are only 2 rides and not all the characters are represented, which is sad knowing that the MCU counts almost 30 movies. The marketing team did an amazing job.
The rides themselves are good, but not new. Let me explain, I was really excited about the new Flight Force ride with Iron Man, but the ride was basically the old version of Aerosmith, with exactly the same looping, etc.
That was sad, knowing that they closed the ride for a long time. However, the Spider-Man ride was the only positive point. The presentation was fun and good to see the film character. Wearing the 3D goggles for the immersion was good.
The restaurants are really expensive, can believe I paid €14 for a pizza slice, some basic pasta and tomato sauce for like €10 and the drinks for €3, where in the meanwhile there is a McDonald's just in the Disney village.
The 2 rides got shut down on many occasions and the queue was long, but this is a well-known issue at many parks. However, we'll say that this is the first wave for the Avenger Campus, let's hope that Disney will invest in more rides for the true fans no signs of Captain America or War Machine and especially...
Read moreOverall disappointing. Just 2 rides - avengers flight is great (though a rebadge of the Aerosmith ride) but webslingers is disappointing with a very dull and boring walkthrough that culminates in a ride that's not much more than a game console experience. The emphasis is on food and restaurants (Pym kitchen is good) and the whole area feels unfinished and opportunities are missed. A few years ago they had some huge statues of avengers like black panther, iron man and hulk in the studios. These were nowhere to be seen and the entrance to the land is poorly designed with just some unnecessary barricades - hopefully this will be temporary, and perhaps something like these statues could be used to announce entrance to the land. The quinjet it poorly positioned and can only be seen properly at a distance (unlike the x-wing in the other park which can be easily appreciated even though it's at a height). I expected a lot more from this new area, especially considering the hype. If there are changes, improvements and additional rides and attractions there (I would suggest another 2) then this area could be fantastic as it has plenty...
