A small, very quiet museum over two floors. Lots of traditionally decorated Easter eggs, painted furniture and other items of interest. I especially enjoyed the mechanical ‘Passion of Christ’ at the end of the museum on the top floor. It wasn’t working, but there were videos showing how the scenes move; astonishing. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Dresden and exhausted by the popular museums and sites.

Interessante Sammlungen, moderne Peripherie. Hat uns gut gefallen

The museum was just over the river on the way to the new town area, very easy to get to. I think we were the only visitors there at the time but it was lovely. There was no information in English so if you're happy to just look at the historic clothes, furniture and toys as we were then I would recommend this museum. We were able to translate some signs that we wanted to read on Google translate ourselves. The staff were all very...
