Neustädter Markthalle — Local services in Dresden

The Neustadter Markthalle is an old style market hall that was recently refurbished and adapted to look more trendy. The market has stalls that sells an eclectic range of goods, including food (and a supermarket), kitchenware and, several cafes and eateries. I had a coffee a couple of times and the cafes here are really nice.

It's not really a tourist stop, as there's not really a lot here that would interest them. It is good if you have time or prefer to spend your money on locals rather than some big faceless...

It looks good outside but little to offer inside. Not worth making the effort to come here.

The Konsum supermarket takes up half of ground floor. Some food stalls and souvenir stalls occupy the ither half. Emil Reimann baker has a good choices of bakery items, cakes, abd coffee at a good price point.

Some restaurants at lower ground floor but closed during winter (?). There is a helpful WC here! A textile stall at the 1st floor....

We were surprised to find a huge flea market here selling antique items. We were expecting it to be a food hall or farmers market vibe, but it's more of a flea market scene. If you like shopping in flea markets, you'll like this experience. There's a grocery store here too, and a few delis and some small boutique shops. The building is quite lovely with the...
