New Göl Market — Attraction in Freiburg im Breisgau

Beware they will try to cheat you if you’re not careful! The most bizarre occurrence happened today - I went shopping here for the first time and the chaser recognised that it was my first time. I bought a large amount of meat and then some other simple things - as the cashier was scanning the items, I was busy with my daughter who kept screaming. I then came to pay and quickly tapped my phone - which had t processed the sum correctly and got declined. I then paid attention to the amount I was paying…. 190€ for 80€ worth of meat and some small additions such as vegetable and bulgur.

I was outraged and told the cashier that that doesn’t make sense - she said well meat is expensive and you can put one back - it cost you 70€ - I said okay but some vegetables and simple things shouldn’t cost me 120!!! She then made out as if I had money issues and couldn’t afford the shopping. I told her to scan everything again - to which she replied - everything has a price and you can check it yourself.

I told her no - scan it all again, it’s impossible that this amounts to 120€ she then started making fun of me with the customer behind me…. And then she oh so conveniently said oh whoops I added the meat twice. She „accidentally“ calculated two 2.5kg legs of meat TWICE !!!! „Accidentally“ adding 72€ to my bill!!!!

She looked as if she has been caught red handed !! And didn’t apologise at all.

Thankfully I had hastily tapped my phone to pay and it the original payment didn’t go through!

When I left, the customer behind me came to me and said „you always have to be very careful here and watch what they scan“!!

It appears to be that I was not the only person who had had this experience.

Wir kaufen hier vor allem unser Fleisch. Das ist mega gut und nirgends in Freiburg so frisch und gut abgehangen. Er macht übrigens auch die Baklava selbst (!!!) nicht wie in den meisten türkischen Läden bestellt aus Mannheim. Wenn wir dann schon mal da sind kaufe ich gleich noch Hülsenfrüchte. Nirgends gibt es so viel Auswahl an Hülsenfrüchten. Wir kaufen...

Wollte ein Paket für GLS abgeben. Sehr unseriöser Laden!! Mitarbeiter könnte nur schlechtes gebrochenes Deutsch, knnte meine Fragen somit auch nicht beantworten und hatte nichtmal Paketband da. Werde diesen Laden nie...
