Heiligen Geist hospital is considered among the first hospitals and social institutions in the world. It was established in 13 cent by rich merchants of the Hanseatic League, whose capital was Lubeck, and made it as a hospital and shelter for homeless and poor. In a very ornate Hall, there's a short history along with a model which shows how self sustainable it was with it's own agriculture, farm, etc... Jestem pielgrzymem na Szlaku Św. Jakuba. W Polsce w zeszłym i tym roku przeszedłem ponad 2000km.. W tym roku od 7 -23 sierpnia pielgrzymowałem od Zgorzelca poprzez Vacha i Fuldę do Frankfurtu nad Menem (około 700km). Udało mi się dzięki Opatrzności uczestniczyć tam we mszach świętych niedzielnych oraz 15 sierpnia w kościołach katolickich. Raz w sobotę byłem na mszy w kościele ewangelickim. W sobotę 19.11. pielgrzymowałem pieszo do Lubeki (15 km + 15 km). Pytałem o katolicki kościół, ale skierowano mnie do Katedry ewangelickiej Dom. Tam odmówiłem Anioł Pański (akurat była 12) i Koronkę do Bożego Miłosierdzia. Dziękowałem za przyjęcie przez nasz naród Jezusa Chrystusa za Króla i Pana i prosiłem, aby zrobili to też Niemcy i inne narody Europy. W niedzielę 20.11. rano pielgrzymowałem do Reinfeld (8,5km), aby tam uczestniczyć we mszy św. w katolickim kościele i odmówić na zakończenie nowenny Jubileuszowy Akt Przyjęcia Jezusa Chrystusa za Króla i Pana. W Zarpen Opatrzność na mojej drodze postawiła Grzegorza. Wraz z nim jego kolegą Szczepanem trafiłem na polską mszę do Waszego kościoła. Jak mi się serce radowało. Tu na mszy czułem się niczym u siebie w górach gdzie się urodziłem lub w Piekarach Śląskich (mieszkam w pobliżu w Polsce). Myślę, że jeszcze nie raz mi będzie dane uczestniczyć w Waszym kościele w Eucharystiach sobotnich lub...
