As a tourist visiting Munich before the pandemic, I had the pleasure of exploring the beautiful Olympiapark on a late summer day. Although the park was bustling with tourists due to a local fair, I found the atmosphere to be lively and energetic, with plenty of local transport connections and ample parking available.

The Olympiapark is a stunning recreational area, with lush green spaces, walking paths, and water features. One of the highlights of the park is the Olympic Tower, which provides stunning panoramic views of Munich and the surrounding areas.

Local fairs taking place in the park, which added to the festive atmosphere. There were many food vendors and carnival rides, as well as live music and other entertainment.

I enjoyed walking around the park and taking in the beautiful scenery. The park is large enough to provide ample space for everyone. There were also plenty of benches and areas to sit and relax, which made it a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Overall, my visit to the Olympiapark was a fantastic experience. The park is a must-see destination for anyone visiting Munich, especially during local events like fairs and festivals. Whether you're interested in nature, history, or just want to enjoy a lively atmosphere, the Olympiapark is definitely...

That beats everything. Nowhere you are nearer the sky over Munich than here. With its overall elevation of 291,28 meters the tower is not only the city’s highest building but also one of the worldwide best known landmarks. The viewing platform on an altitude of 190 meters above ground provides the widest and most spectacular panoramic view on Munich and beyond its borders. One of the tower’s biggest attractions is the revolving restaurant in a height of 181 meters completing one turn in 53 minutes and letting the guest enjoy the 360-degree-view while sitting on his table. Since 2004 the Olympic Tower is home of the “Rockmuseum Munich”, maybe not the biggest but undisputably the worldwide highest of its kind. The exhibition consists of tickets, pictures, newspaper articles but also of stage outfit and instruments of stars like Freddie Mercury, Pink Floyd or the...
