As a tourist visiting Munich before the pandemic, I had the pleasure of exploring the beautiful Olympiapark on a late summer day. Although the park was bustling with tourists due to a local fair, I found the atmosphere to be lively and energetic, with plenty of local transport connections and ample parking available. The Olympiapark is a stunning recreational area, with lush green spaces, walking paths, and water features. One of the highlights of the park is the Olympic Tower, which provides stunning panoramic views of Munich and the surrounding areas. Local fairs taking place in the park, which added to the festive atmosphere. There were many food vendors and carnival rides, as well as live music and other entertainment. I enjoyed walking around the park and taking in the beautiful scenery. The park is large enough to provide ample space for everyone. There were also plenty of benches and areas to sit and relax, which made it a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Overall, my visit to the Olympiapark was a fantastic experience. The park is a must-see destination for anyone visiting Munich, especially during local events like fairs and festivals. Whether you're interested in nature, history, or just want to enjoy a lively atmosphere, the Olympiapark is definitely worth a visit.

Best tower experience in Munich. you get the experience to see Munich from 291 m above with a fasinating surrounding. entrance fee 13€ open all days till 11pm. souvenirs shopnat the entrance, payment by card or cash possible. restaurant at the bottom base of the tower. you wait about 5 min in front of the elevator and one employee take the group of people to the 185m where you reach the glass room, awesome surrounding, cafeteria and a VR experience to see Olympia park 50years ago in 1972 and the future in 2070. then you can take the first stair to the open platforms guarded by long steel rails and another stairs to the last open platform with binocolours[1 euro] to zoom at the favourite buildings. very recommended experience.

The overwhelmingly positive reviews should already make you visit this place, and this opinion will be no different. The view is absolutely amazing, with the city, the Olympiapark and the Alps so clearly visible! I must however admit, that it’s a much better experience in the warm months, than in the cold ones, due to the upper area of the tower being open. The lower part is great, but it’s the open part above it that makes the difference. The Tower is also covered by the City Pass, so if you’re on a “discover Munich” journey, think about it. :) The place is also accessible by wheelchair, that’s a big plus. Absolutely recommended!

One of our favourite parts of the whole week we spent in Munich! The tickets are 11 euros each per adult and worth every penny. The views are incredible, be sure to go on a good day to make the most of this as you can see all the way to the Alps. On the windows, there is signs telling you what you can see and there are binoculars you can use for a euro. The first platform is completely sealed which is great if you have a fear of heights. For the braver people, you can go up to two levels of open platforms. At the top there is also a cafe where I had one of the nicest Cappuccinos I had all holiday. A must if you are in Munich.
