Schon beim Betreten taucht man in eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre ein: alles ist ruhig, weil autofrei und die Bevölkerung des "Dorfes" (eigentlich ist es eine Stadt für sich) ist sehr bunt: von jung bis alt, in- und ausländisch ist alles vertreten. Soziale Einrichtungen wie Krippen, KiTas, Schulen etc. sind vorhanden. Man findet eine Menge Grünflächen. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Lokalitäten kommen nicht zu kurz. Das gesamte "Dorf" steht unter Denkmalschutz. Die Punkte Abzug sind der mangelhaften Ausschilderung geschuldet - Orientierung ist aufgrund fehlender Wegweiser absolut nicht möglich. Derzeit gibt es eine Ausstellung über das Olympia-Attentat vor 50 Jahren, deren Besuch sehr lohnt - wenn man sie (aufgrund der fehlenden Ausschilderungen) dann erst einmal gefunden hat.
