01-July-2025: One of the worst experiences in my life, let alone in a restaurant. The guy with “salt and pepper” hair and the waitress (probably of Asian descent) were downright hostile towards me and my family from the time we set foot in this god-forsaken restaurant. We are all busy in our lives and no one has time to sit down and write a long review, BUT this particular incident demands to be shared with general public and the owners of this restaurant so that corrective measures can be taken.
First of all there were no one sitting in the “inside” area of the restaurant there were probably 3 families sitting in “outside” area, that’s all. They did not have flowing customers who are dying to eat their food and waiting in 1 hr long queues. Me and my family sat down at one table checking the menu, just then I got a phone call so I stood up and started walking away from our table to the other table just as we stroll around while talking on phone, and this angry middle-aged “salt and pepper” hair guy starts directly shouting at me “WHERE DO YOU WANT TO SIT? THIS TABLE OR THAT TABLE??”. I was so shocked that I didn’t even respond and walked away from there. And mind you, the inside area was totally empty except us. Then the Asian waitress came to take order and when we said only two colas are enough she was like “ONE COLA IS FOR JUST ONE PERSON, NOT EVERYONE!!”. We were four people, we just had drinks in BMW Museum so we all didn’t want to drink cola again. So we said “yes we know”. So she went away. When we came in we didn’t know about the outside area, we are tourists in Munich not regular customers of this “awful-service-provider” restaurant. So when we came to know about this “outside” area, while waiting for food, we politely requested the waitress to allow us to sit outside, she didn’t even make eye contact and rudely said “yes, but there’s smoking”. So first me and my bro-in-law went outside to check how bad is the smoking smell because we had a toddler with us, but when we saw that there’s not many people and not lot of smoking going on, and it was hot inside so we thought we’ll go out. While we were going, I could hear the two angry waiters (sNp hair and waitress that took our order) sighing in disgust or disapproval as if we are committing some immoral act.
We wanted to leave looking at these reactions but our order was placed so we stayed. Then when we were sitting in the outside area, I saw that there’s a concrete slab which made it difficult for the baby stroller to be brought near table, so I put the stroller away near a wall and was explaining to my family members about the stroller situation because of the concrete slab, then suddenly out of the blue this sNp hair guy was standing behind me and rudely shouting “Is this place also not good enough for you??” So this time I shouted back at him that “Was I talking to you? What’s your problem?” then he angrily walked away like a drama Queen cursing under his breath.
So the food and colas came and we start eating. Suddenly, like an annoying mosquito, this guy comes back again and starts shouting at us “EVERY PERSON MUST ORDER THEIR OWN DRINK”, I said ok so what? What if we don't want to drink anything? Then he said “I JUST SAW HIM DRINK THE COLA THAT WAS ORDERED FOR HER!” pointing to my family members. What kind of sick people live in this world? I am happy and grateful that I am not like him. Later I found that just one sip was taken in between. I saw other reviews here, also narrating the same situation. So these waiters / waitresses have a habit of mistreating their own customers, whose money becomes their salaries. Just amazing hospitality!
At that point I also lost my patience and shouted at him ok bring two more Colas then. He again went back in angrily muttering something. These are pathetic human beings of the highest order. The whole mood was spoilt. It was like i paid money for this disturbing experience.
In contrast Osteria da Massimo (Borstei), I highly recommend. The service was easily one of the best.
But this restaurant, i...
Read moreI have ordered a pizza for take away in order to feed my little girl with a few bites as nothing else was in the area. I told to the persons that we will take it away, however we will stay only 5 minutes to give the child some bites (explained in german - maybe I am not native, however it was an easy explanation) After the pizza arrived, as we have waited outside on terrace about 15 min (where 80% of the tables where empty), we tried to open the box to give the child some pizza as she was hungry, and a lady came very fast to us sayng: " You are not allowed to eat here, as you took for take away"
I said, I know that I took for take away, however, we need to feed the child a few minutes...
She said that we need to go as if we wanted to stay, it was more expensive...
You can decide from my review what to think, but it was inhumane to do something like this.
We ordered to take away, not because it was cheaper (we did not even know that there is a difference as no one told us, and in Romania where we are from, there is no price difference for this scenario) The reason was that the little child would have only a few bites and we where not hungry to stay and eat the rest of it there.
I love Germany and most of the people, however this experience made the day thinking how inhumane some people can be.
I wonder if this is a pizza hut concept so I can tell everyone to avoid this company!!
Shame on you pizza hut for making us feel like parasite...
We are just a regular family, coming in the beautiful city of München to visit and where trying to give to our child something to eat. A child under 2...
Read moreI had a horrible experience today at Pizza Hut that literally ruined my day. I visited with my partner and ordered one pizza and one refill drink. Simple enough, right? Well, apparently not for your staff.
First of all, the waiter acted like a drink police. He rudely told me the refill is “only for one person.” I told him “Yes, I know,” because I was the only one planning to drink it. After receiving the drink, I took one sip and found the taste unfamiliar, so I asked my partner to try it. That’s when the unthinkable happened.
The waiter came back aggressively and questioned us – “Why is she drinking your drink?” Are you serious? Is this what your staff is trained to do? Monitor customers like prison guards and interrogate them over a single sip of a drink they PAID for?
This is beyond offensive and completely ridiculous. When I buy a drink, it’s mine. I decide what to do with it. You don’t get to dictate who can take a sip. The logic is absurd. Should I not be allowed to share my pizza with someone either? Should I be questioned if my partner takes a bite?
If you can’t handle customers acting like normal human beings, then maybe it’s time to cancel this “refill” concept altogether. You’re not just failing at customer service – you’re insulting people who chose to spend their money at your restaurant.
Pizza Hut has officially lost me as a customer. I will never set foot in one of your locations again. And I’ll make sure everyone I know hears about this ridiculous and embarrassing experience.
Shameful service. Absolutely...
