During my visit to the Olympic Swimming Pool in Olympia Park, Munich, I was thoroughly impressed by both the stunning facilities and the atmosphere of the location. Built for the 1972 Summer Olympics, this pool has a rich history and remains a top-notch destination for both locals and visitors.

The pool is truly massive, offering ample space for swimming and relaxation. The outdoor section is especially lovely, with clear views of the surrounding Olympic Park, making it feel like a true oasis within the city. The water was clean, refreshing, and the perfect temperature for a summer swim. With lanes available for laps, plus open areas for recreational swimming, there’s something for everyone here.

The best part of the experience was the surrounding environment. The iconic Olympic Park provides a stunning backdrop to the pool, and you can enjoy panoramic views of the park and even the Olympic Tower while swimming or lounging by the poolside. It’s not just a pool – it’s an experience, with the historical Olympic structures adding to the charm.

One thing that stood out to me was how well-maintained the facilities were. The pool area was spotless, and the changing rooms were spacious and clean. There were also plenty of amenities, including a café nearby for a refreshing snack after a swim. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit.

Additionally, the pool area offers a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Whether you're swimming for exercise or just taking in the surroundings, it’s a great place to spend a few hours.

Overall, I highly recommend visiting the Olympic Swimming Pool if you're in Munich. It’s a beautiful and historic location, offering excellent swimming facilities and a peaceful, scenic environment. Whether you're an athlete, a leisure swimmer, or just looking to relax, this pool is a...

The Olympic swimming pool in Munich is a world-class facility that is truly impressive. The pool is massive, and the water is crystal clear, creating a pristine swimming environment. The pool is surrounded by a stadium-like setting, with ample seating for spectators to cheer on their favorite swimmers.

The facility is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The locker rooms are clean and spacious, with plenty of showers and changing areas. The pool itself is divided into lanes for lap swimming, and there is always plenty of room for everyone to swim comfortably without feeling crowded.

One of the standout features of the Olympic swimming pool in Munich is the diving platform. The platform towers high above the pool, providing a thrilling experience for divers and spectators alike. The platform is well-maintained, and the staff is vigilant about safety, making it a great place to practice diving or simply watch others.

Overall, the Olympic swimming pool in Munich is a fantastic facility that caters to swimmers of all levels. Whether you are an Olympic athlete or a casual swimmer, you will find everything you need to enjoy a great swim. I highly recommend this swimming pool to anyone looking for an exceptional swimming...

I was looking for a local gym with Sauna area. Signed a 2 year contract for 64 Euro a month to find out it is just a Swimming pool with Sauna and some Gym equipment. The average Hotel gym is better equipped. Tuesdays is ladies night in the Sauna so that leaves me the choice of only 6 days a week. The contract says it closes up to 2 weeks a year, but I found out it closes much more often than that. Tried for over a year to speak to someone to complain but they kept on telling me I had to speak to a manager who was never there even though I even went 3 times specifically to the gym trying to meet the manager, however up and till now I still haven’t seen him. When going to the Sauna I kept being followed by men blatantly glaring at me which I found very off-putting. So if you’re looking for a gym, do not sign up here. If you’re looking for a sauna, don’t go there if you can still look at your own toes standing up straight and don’t like man glaring at you all the time (especially...

High cleanliness in pools, changing rooms, and bathrooms, relatively warm water temperature. The main area is bright and has a moderate amount of sunlight during the day, the atmosphere is quite pleasant. Not too crowded at 5 in the afternoon on the weekend, so you have a lot of space to swim or practice. A lot of seats including deck chairs, benches and viewer seats. There are hair dryers available in the changing area, and private individual changing booths with a mirror in each. Only problem is the pungent smell of chlorine greeting you even at the entrance, but that happens at every swimming pool. So overall, quite a nice place to go swimming.
