Paulaner Brewery Marquee (Armbrustschützenzelt) — Attraction in Munich

The Oktoberfest event is great, but it has changed. On previous visits, you rocked up to a marquee and got a seat. You stood on a bench toasting and stayed as long as you liked. Not now, you must pre book a table (with food) or you will be asked to leave at 3 pm, or 6 pm. After 6 pm, you can not get into a tent anywhere without a booking. Oktoberfest has lost a lot...

Brilliant place to soak up the Oktoberfest.

The staff were just lovely and so happy to stop and talk and help.

We were a large group of 13, and were very well looked after in a box.

Beer was great, food was great, atmosphere was amazing. The toilets were spotless.

Wouldn't hesitate...

Wir waren dieses Jahr in diesem Zelt. Im Gang 56. Das erste was uns die Kellnerin sagt ist, oder wir bezahlen Trinkgeld oder es gibt keinen Tisch und kein Bier. Das Trinkgeld hat sie sich selbst genommen. Bis zum Punkt das wir 2 Bier mit einem 50 Schein bezahlt haben uns sie den Schein einfach eingesteckt hat ohne nichts zurückzugeben. Wir haben für jedes Bier um die 20 Euros bezahlt. Das ist unverschämt und dreist. Meine Freundin hat ein Bier genommen das nicht für unser Tisch war und die Kellnerin hay sie beschimpft mit schlampe obwohl wir das Bier sofort zurückgegen haben und wir uns entschuldigt haben, Mein Mann hat sich beschwert und hat nach dem Rückgeld gefragt und darauf hin hat die Kellnerin Security gerufen und er wurde vom Zelt rausgeschmissen. Im allgemeinen....unter aller sau. Am nächsten Tag waren wir im HB...und alles super. Mit Respekt und mit normalen...
