I was just aimlessly walking through the outskirts of old town and came across this imposing structure from medieval times. Apparently this structure was built since 1284, and is the only surviving tower from an original 6 units. Just a quiet piece of history standing unassumingly here.

A large and impressive tower gate on the eastern edge of the old town. The tower gate is worthy of a visit as it is much more visually striking than the western gate and gives an idea of what the old fortified city must have once looked like.
