Cafe Jolie — Restaurant in Regensburg

Edit: after having had brunch with my friends on the 23.07. (reserved in advance, a group of 14 people), I unfortunately have to lower my rating. We waited unusually long to have our orders taken and for the coffees. Food obviously too, but that is understandable. Apart from that the service was simply not good enough. One of the waitresses was impolite and didn’t seem to understand what was asked (tried in both English and German). We had issues clarifying payments, we also had to wait very long for her to get the card payment device to be able to pay. Additionally what I cannot understand is why we were given a table inside instead of on the beautiful large terrace. It was very crowded and tight for the 14 of us, especially as we were not the only ones (put) inside.

I am afraid I will not be visiting this place anytime soon.

Wir waren leider nicht sonderlich begeistert.

Zunächst einmal zum wichtigsten, dem Frühstück an sich. Wir hatten für 15€ etwas Schinken, Salami, Käse, Früchte sowie etwas Salat in der Mitte. Dazu gibt es ein Warmgetränk.

Preis- Leistungstechnisch leider nicht so, wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben. Zu dem Kurs sollte beispielsweise Rührei/ Ein gekochtes Ei inklusive sein (2,6€ Aufpreis für ein gekochtes Ei) oder beispielsweise ein Gläschen O-Saft…Die Tasse Kaffee war eine kleine, hm, ok, allerdings schmeckte der Kaffee, als sei die Maschine lange Zeit nicht entkalkt worden. Das Brot war aufgebackenes Baguette, leider nicht ordentlich aufgebacken und ebenfalls zu wenig für zwei Frühstücke.

Vergleiche ich das mit anderen Gelegenheiten frühstücken zu gehen, dann gibt es dort Rührei, frisches Müsli mit Joghurt und Obst, ein Glas Saft/Sekt und einen üppigen Brotkorb für die selbe Preisklasse…

Als wir auf Grund des Wetters herein gingen, war ich ebenfalls vom Innenraum etwas überrascht. Dicht an dicht aufgereihte Tische, eine mit Tesa an die wand geklebte Lichterkette, auf der Herren Toilette war es dreckig und das Stehbecken war offensichtlich schon länger mit einem gelben Sack als defekt angehängt….

So wurde die eigentliche Unisex Toilette kurzerhand zur Herrentoilette, die gegenüberliegende Behinderten Toilette wiederum zur Frauen Toilette umfunktioniert.

Alles in Allem können wir den Hype leider nicht so ganz nachvollziehen. Ja, die Lage ist super aber seien wir ehrlich letzten Endes möchte man nett frühstücken gehen.

Für meine Frau war es bereits die „zweite Chance“ im Café Jolie, für mich was es der erste Besuch und leider damit auch unser letzter,...
