A really great gem in Saarbrücken. I got on with my student card for less than 5 euro. I had to put my back pack in a locker and was not allowed to take photos in some of the exhibits, but that did not impede on my enjoyment of the museum, and the staff was very friendly. I was surprised to find that the museum had so many artifacts - I did not expect a museum in Saarbrücken to be so strong. But I was so wrong! Read moreThis museum is a hidden gem! We felt so welcomed by the museum staff, in particular a kind and very knowledgeable staff member. He translated a lot of the German exhibits to English for our family. My 8 year old was so impressed with all of the history that the museum had. Oh, one more thing they have an area to hang your coats and lockers for any shopping bags you might...
