A worthwhile visit in Kefalonia is visiting the capitol Argostoli, whether its shopping, night life, culture, museums(earthquake museum is worth visit, so is Argostoli culture museum (Corgialenous). Maybe, if you're lucky view the turtles in the mornings by the bay area- its really magical. Can be warm during the day, so stay hydrated, there are plenty of cafes, restaurants & shops to visit to take the heat out of the day. Was part of a package visit bought from a local tourist agency office in Skala Town centre. Tour guide was very friendly, English speaking. They picked us up from our hotel & was very knowledgeable about the local history. Also visited Italian war memorial & St Theodore Lighthouse - the views are really beautiful - well worth a visit in Kefalonia

Se află la mijlocul unei promenade lungi, cu multe terase și magazine. Este foarte plăcut să te plimbi în zonă, în special seara când majoritatea ies din casă și devine foarte animată. Majoritatea teraselor arată extraordinar și te face să te simți ca un copil mic care ar vrea să le încerce pe toate dar e copleșit de multitudinea lor. Paralel cu aceasta este faleza, la fel de lungă și cu multe terase, la doar 100 m distanță. Nu te poți plictisi sub nici o formă chiar dacă treci prin ea câteva zile la rând. Mare atenție la ceas!!! Aceasta zonă e atemporală și nu-ți dai seama când se face dimineață.

This is a lovely square we hadn't been to before and what a find. Lots of tranquil bars and places to eat, drink and chill out. There are many old trees so a lot of space in the shade. As our general observation, staff are so friendly and welcoming everywhere. They stop and chat and tell you local stories if...

The place to go for restaurants in Argostolli and watch the world go by. There are some good options on the harbour front as well with better views and just a short walk to the turtle viewing points (recommended getting there 09:30am to 10:00am for the turtles). Not Argostolli can be very busy on a Tuesday for...
