KartLand Malia — Attraction in Municipality of Chersonissos

Found the place by accident. Figures, it's the best place on Crete.

The place is less crowded than others, which means less sharing of the track if any, which is good for both, the beginners and those who came looking for fast times.

The karts are faster than on other tracks. The owner gets more tire wear this way, but faster kart is of course more fun. For beginners and children though, the karts can be tuned down. They also have double karts to take smaller children on the track with parents.

If you want and the owner is not busy, he can take photos and more importantly, take time.

If you want to have fun, look no further, however if you also want to go fast, here are some tips for you:

Less than 40 minutes probably won't do it. Ask the owner to send you out on 4 separate 10 min stints. On first stint get to know the kart and the track. Before second stint ask the owner about the right racing line and try to achieve it and also try the limits of the grip, THERE IS MORE GRIP available than you thought. Stints 3 and 4 are the two attempts to get the best time.

My best time was 36.8 @ 96 kg.

PS. If you really want to chase the devil, ask for kart nr 5 for...

Easily one of the best Go-Karting experiences I have ever had! The price is the best value for track time of any Go-Kart track I have visited, I ended up running for 4 sessions and would have definitely done more if I had the time. The track is so much fun with a great layout, the karts are very well maintained, very fast and handle great. The staff at this business absolutely made the experience for me and our group. I was given quick off-track lessons about where I could gain time on my laps, and then on my following sessions, one of the owners of the business came out on the track for me to chase around. This was easily the most fun I have had at an arrive and drive style session and I am very grateful to the owners for this experience. A side note - if you have a GoPro/similar camera, bring it with you!! I was very kindly given a different helmet with a GoPro mount to use whilst I drove, so now I have great footage from to remember this brilliant afternoon. 100% must visit if you are in Crete and even more so if you are an avid driver! I will most definitely be visiting again...

I would have given zero stars if I could. The guys who work there are rude and don't even listen to you when you ask them anything. We went with our family and they put us with a group of 11 local guys (regulars) despite us having expressed our concerns about it. We hadn't even done the first lap before they slammed into us (me at least 5 times). Plus, they constantly cut us off. I pointed this out after the first few laps and they didn't do anything. The guys continued and had fun doing it on purpose. At the end of the ride, I confronted the guys and the staff was able to tell me that they were aware of the behavior since they were regulars, and even though we told them at the beginning, nothing happened, they barely...
