Surfline Rhodes — Attraction in Municipality of Rhodes

You could say it in one word: FANTASTIC. But to be so short would not be enough in my opinion.

A surf school is only as good as its equipment and its team and in this school both are top!

I can only recommend the surf school to everybody. The team is simply phenomenal!

And that's exactly why I don't wanna miss to say something about every single one that I had the chance to get to know.

I had the luck in my 10 days to be assigned three of the instructors of the team and they were all great!

On the first day Jorgos taught me the theoretical basics, how to get up and how to hoist the sail in (for me as a beginner) strong waves. He encourage me from the beginning and motivated me not to give up to hoist the sail again and again, till I made it. He is a nice and funny tainer.

On 2nd and 3rd day I had the pleasure to call Markos my instructor. He is an experienced surfer from whom you can learn a lot. Thanks to him I was able to ride the first meters out, turn around and even if mostly still very wobbly and with small falls connected, ride back more or less to the beach. Since the waves were still quite high Markos has given me tips over and over again how I do not lose the balance. Even if I began to get desperate, because something did't work out as I imagined it, Markos always relexed the mood and kept it up. He's an attentive, charming and patient instructor with whom every hour flew by.

Since the 4th hour Angeliki was my instructor. Angeliki is a clever power woman and an absolute sunshine. She is patient and at the same time demanding. Just the right mixture to learn something. She motivates you and spurs you on to get more out of yourself. With her I have learned to drive small tours and also to master challenging wind conditions. Even when it gets really exhausting you have a lot of fun with her. She is not only a top instructor but also a super sympathetic, cute and intelligent woman!

Even though I wasn't outside with the other two guys, they were always extremely helpful and friendly.

Last but not least the owner Dimitris may not be left unmentioned. He is a cordial unique specimen that you simply have to experience 😊

I have not only been in good hands but I also felt super comfortable with this great team. I couldn't have found a better team for my first experiences on the surfboard. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday!

p.s.: a little tip for beginners with tender hands... buy some gloves at the beginning otherwise it will...

SurfLine Rhodes is the best spot on the island to learn how to Wind surf, stand up paddle board, wing foil, and jet ski. The instructors are amazing and they out safety first, always. The offer life jackets, helmets (if needed) and teach you everything you need to know well before you enter the water.

Dionysis, Panagiotis, and Giannis are simply amazing.

I bought a 5 hour package for a fair price and the instructors either surf with you, or let you enjoy the waves when you’re comfortable.

There’s always someone (if not 3-5 people) on shore watching out for your safety and you use walkie talkies for long distance instruction too.

If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I recommend them both as a person who is learning, and as someone who sends beginners and professionals for a site to surf!

Make sure you make a reservation for faster and expedited service as it’s a very popular destination, but they do take walk in customers 😊

Outstanding! Fun filled, excellent instruction windsurfing classes. I took two 2 hour windsurfing classes. It was my first time windsurfing. George was my instructor and he is brilliant. Great instructions throughout both classes. Very thorough simulation instruction on beach simulator. George is very encouraging and bold at the same time to keep you in check, making sure you are safe and learning at all times. Gianis was my partner’s instructor and she said he had the same teaching style as George. Equipment is well maintained. I recommend doing the 6 hour package if you have time. It is the most cost effective. That would be 2 hours per day. Believe me the time goes by so fast!
