Avoid at all costs I have been going to Paxos on holidays since I was a child and I can safely say this is the worst restaurant not only on the island but I have ever been to. I went with my family including my parents brother and his family and all our respective children. The starters came with the exception of my wife’s and before people had finished, or before my wife’s starter had been delivered they brought out the main courses and literally tried to put the dishes on top of existing plates of food. When I mentioned we hadn’t finished our starters or in fact actually all got them I was told. “Your English, I’m Greek your problem”. When I complained to the owner he dismissed anything had been wrong, became aggressive, and ushered me inside to pay. Disgusting aggressive behaviour. Please take note and avoid this place. This is the first bad review I have ever written so please take my word and avoid this restaurant. I fear I made a mistake ordering the tuna as it was very overcooked, and typically British I didn't complain (my fault entirely) but my husband really enjoyed his dish of a seafood linguine, and I had plenty leftover to feed the cats so that was fine! The portion sizes were typically large and we had the set menu which was a very reasonable price. All in all a very pleasant evening meal, would just recommend checking how they cook your tuna...
Read moreOur experience at La Rosa di Paxos was simply unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and always with a smile.
The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of flavor, showcasing the best of local ingredients. The mojito was a standout, prepared with fresh mint picked right from their own garden, adding an incredible freshness to the drink.
To top it all off, we were treated to complimentary shots at the end of our meal—a lovely gesture that made the day even more special.
I would return to La Rosa di Paxos without a doubt. Highly recommend this charming spot to anyone...
