PIZZA VASILIS — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

As a local, I've visited this restaurant three times in the past two months. My first visit was a dine-in experience, and I was impressed with the quality of the food and the fair prices. During my second visit, I ordered takeout, and the experience was still good. However that time, I noticed that there are two different menus, and no one explained the huge difference between them. I thought is the old and new menu.

On my third visit, I dined in again but it looks like I was charged according to the second menu.

It seems that the first two times, they recognized me as a local, but the third time they didn't. Be aware that the menu you see here on Google maps, is for "takeaway" only. If you choose to dine in and you're not a local, be prepared to pay nearly double the prices. Please specify in advance according to which menu you will be paying for.

For instance, for two normal pizzas (not even large size), one salad, a beer and a bottle of water, I paid 55€.. in my opinion, that’s ridiculously expensive for...

I have spent four or five times at Vasilis, first few times in October 2020 when COVID 19 was big, another few times in September 2024. Vasilis was fantastic food in 2020 and is the same in 2024, same quality, same lovely people, it is good to sit down outside and enjoy an evening here with good pizza and drink. I was ordering from there about every other week or day, depending if we had made dinner at home. Their pizza is like the Italian ones, thin, crispy, tasty, the price was worth every last euro.
