Creativity and handcrafted details, enriched with imagination, place this accommodation at the very top of my ratings. The modern rustic design of the rooms makes for a restful sleep. The café within the apartments is pure melody. It’s not only about the wonderful organic latte, nor the wide choice of cocktails or delicious pancakes, nor even the music that relaxes the soul. What gives all of this its true charm is the love of the owners and the warm, sincere, heartfelt embrace and conversation they offer.|A home is not easy to create—it takes effort, struggle, and love. But Kanela Studios breathes like a home: mine, yours, everyone’s.|The sandy, enchanting beach lies right next to the accommodation, where anyone can simply relax and enjoy the endless blue of the sea.|As a rather strict person when it comes to reviews, I visited seven islands on this journey, and if I could turn back time—I would definitely come in May and stay until September. I was just a passerby for four days, trying to extend my stay, which was impossible due to full bookings, but Kanela carved itself into my heart. Our endless gratitude to the hosts and staff of Kanela Studios for a wonderful stay! Your hospitality, sincerity, kindness made it truly incredible and unforgettable. We fell in love with the apartment and the Kanela restaurant won us over with its incredible staff, delicious food and atmosphere! Special thanks to Mario for interesting routes with beautiful views, for learning to cook Greek cuisine and for a warm, almost family evening in a circle of nice people. You really have a big heart! We were also impressed by the proximity to the sea (10 meters), the beach is shallow sand, the descent into the water is gentle, and the sea on this beach is the warmest on the entire island. There are many sunbeds (10-20 euros), there are sea entertainments. There are many car rental offers, excursions, and souvenir shops near Kanela. The supermarket is also open until 23:50. And very beautiful views. In general, the atmosphere of this place is very encouraging to relax and everything is done to get positive emotions. And many cats live in Kanela. Brothers Marios and George and their Team are the most welcoming hosts! We were always greeted and looked after with warmth and authenticity by everyone. And Marios would sit down with us often and recommend beautiful spots for what we were wanting to experience. And we would end up in deep conversation about life and mindfulness.

The property itself is very clean and fully serviced every morning by Mrs Nelly without fail unless of course we requested otherwise. It is right by our favourite beach, with shallow water running for maybe upto 100m. Great to sit or stand in calm water with views of mountains in the distance. Other beaches are spectacular but far less comfortable. Worth visiting them but we kept coming back to our home beach daily.

Kanela has its own cafe and bar offering delicious food and beverage. You’ll see from the menu that the source and quality of ingredients are very well considered and important to them.
