Madhavan Park in Jaya Nagar East, is very well connected by public transport including metro and is at about a 5 minute walk away from the closest metro rail station. Buses and Autos are also available right at the entrance of the park, making it extremely accessible from across the city. There is sufficient parking space around the park for both two and four wheelers. The park has an attached basketball court, a skating rink, washrooms, a stage, landscaping, statues, a fountain, benches and low seating facilities, drinking water, lights/lamps, designated play areas and walking/ jogging tracks for people of all ages. The walking tracks have tactile surfaces to prevent slippage and any untoward accidents. They are set amidst lush greenery. However, the walking tracks are not wide enough for easy commuting of two way pedestrian traffic. Ample seating is provided in the form of low benches that are wide enough for comfortable seating for the elderly and people of other age groups.
