Humble Streetfood Style Dosae in Fine Dine A/C setup !! If this is what you want - Mulbagal Dosa Corner is the perfect place for family Breakfast & evening snack time !! . Started just a few days ago, the Pai Hotel group have collaborated with the pioneers of Mulbagal Dosae... so apparently there’s an elite team from Mulbagal who’s managing the dosa station & preparing the batter & other accompaniments. . . . In the Pic 📸 ➖Mulbagal Style Masala Dosae - Open & Close. . . . Where ❓➖Mulbagal Dosa Corner, Pai Viceroy, Jayanagar, Bengaluru. . . . Timings ⏰ ➖ 6:30 am to 12:00 pm; 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. . . . Price 💵 ➖For 2 - Rs. 250/- to 300/- (Mulbagal Dosae - Rs. 75/-). . . . Verdict 💯➖ Bigbabafoodie Rating ➖⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . They have just one type of Mulbagal Dosae, when I requested for an open masala, the steward was adamant itll be served closed, we were bamboozled for a while !! ... then another senior person interrupted & accepted the order... the specialty of streetfood is ultimate customisation... if you try to bring such loved & famed food, please have the patience to understand the customer needs !! Hope they learn & change their antics !! ... coming to the food ... the dosae was pretty good !! The chutneys were good... could smell the aroma of ghee wafting from the plate whilst taking the photos... the sabakki idli was super soft & fluffy... the plain idli & vada sambhar was a complete surprise!! Am definitely going here again for the idli vada sambhar !!

MDC is an excellent spot for breakfast, offering a true taste of authentic South Indian flavors. The highlight for me was their Mulbagal Dosa—perfectly crispy on the outside with a wonderfully fluffy interior. It’s clear they’ve mastered the art of dosa-making. Their Sabakki Idli and Medu Vada were top-notch as well. The idli was soft, moist, and full of flavor, while the medu vada had just the right balance of crispness and softness. I particularly enjoyed their Saagu—rich, flavorful, and the perfect accompaniment to the dosas and idlis. We also tried the Poori, Podi Idli, and Badam Halwa. Every dish was bursting with authentic taste and expertly prepared. The Poori was fluffy and paired beautifully with the saagu curry, while the Podi Idli had that perfect kick of spice with a generous sprinkle of podi. The Badam Halwa was a delightful sweet treat to end the meal. Their coffee deserves a special mention—it’s served in a traditional brass glass, adding to the authentic experience. The taste was robust, aromatic, and just the way I love it. To avoid long wait times, it’s best to arrive around 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM, as the place tends to get crowded. The service is prompt, and the ambience is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to start your day. I would definitely recommend MDC for anyone craving a hearty, authentic South Indian breakfast. A must-visit for food lovers!

Come for the dosa stay for the coffee.. If you are a dosa connoisseur like me, this is the place you need to go to. MDC offers you the perfect dosa the right shade of golden brown. Its just not the color but the taste as well. The dosa is made just the way I like it crisp at the edges and soft in the middle. When you open it, you are greeted by a generous portion of aaloo palya cooked just right. The two chutney's that accompany the dosa are the perfect accompaniment with the red chutney having the right balance of tang and the white chutney with the flavor of peanuts is just great. But its not just the dosa, they have this great saboodana idli which is unbelievably soft. Finally the coffee served in brass cup and tumbler is heavenly and something my grand mother would definitely approve. Oh by the way, they have take way as well. You can rest assured that they are concerned with the environment because their packaging is bio-degradable..so you can take home dosas, idlis happily! Don't take my word for it, visit MDC for yourself to savor the goodness. All in all a five star experience.

This is a place that one has to try. Though this place has lot many darshini's or restuarants etc, this place is worth giving try for once. The most attractive dish is Mulbagal Dosa, which is quite unique. It's very yummy and very tasty. It's not a dosa which can be compared with others as this Dosa is made from Ghee. People who are diet conscious or who do not like ghee, pls avoid this place. Another fact one has to keep in mind is the size of Dosa which is small, small and small. Change your perception of Dosa when you visit this place. One can easily eat 3 Dosas if you love Ghee. So you can imagine the size of Dosa. The Dosa will cost you Rs.75. There are other few items like Idly, Sabudana Idly(must try), Rice Noodles with multiple flavours. Considering the are the options available in this place is very very less. So if entire family is planning to visit, go with a mindset of less options. When we visited there only 7 items. So you can imagine how squeezed you are if you are visiting foddie family. As we visited this place on Sunday for breakfast, it was crowded. One has to wait before and after. So don't plan this place if you are rushing for any program or traveling. The price is slightly higher compared to other restaurants located in this area. The beauty is we get lot of parking along with valet parking too. To conclude this place worth visiting once due to its...
