Read moreThis is a place that one has to try. Though this place has lot many darshini's or restuarants etc, this place is worth giving try for once. The most attractive dish is Mulbagal Dosa, which is quite unique. It's very yummy and very tasty. It's not a dosa which can be compared with others as this Dosa is made from Ghee. People who are diet conscious or who do not like ghee, pls avoid this place. Another fact one has to keep in mind is the size of Dosa which is small, small and small. Change your perception of Dosa when you visit this place. One can easily eat 3 Dosas if you love Ghee. So you can imagine the size of Dosa. The Dosa will cost you Rs.75. There are other few items like Idly, Sabudana Idly(must try), Rice Noodles with multiple flavours. Considering the are the options available in this place is very very less. So if entire family is planning to visit, go with a mindset of less options. When we visited there only 7 items. So you can imagine how squeezed you are if you are visiting foddie family. As we visited this place on Sunday for breakfast, it was crowded. One has to wait before and after. So don't plan this place if you are rushing for any program or traveling. The price is slightly higher compared to other restaurants located in this area. The beauty is we get lot of parking along with valet parking too. To conclude this place worth visiting once due to its...
Read moreMDC is an excellent spot for breakfast, offering a true taste of authentic South Indian flavors. The highlight for me was their Mulbagal Dosa—perfectly crispy on the outside with a wonderfully fluffy interior. It’s clear they’ve mastered the art of dosa-making.
Their Sabakki Idli and Medu Vada were top-notch as well. The idli was soft, moist, and full of flavor, while the medu vada had just the right balance of crispness and softness. I particularly enjoyed their Saagu—rich, flavorful, and the perfect accompaniment to the dosas and idlis.
We also tried the Poori, Podi Idli, and Badam Halwa. Every dish was bursting with authentic taste and expertly prepared. The Poori was fluffy and paired beautifully with the saagu curry, while the Podi Idli had that perfect kick of spice with a generous sprinkle of podi. The Badam Halwa was a delightful sweet treat to end the meal.
Their coffee deserves a special mention—it’s served in a traditional brass glass, adding to the authentic experience. The taste was robust, aromatic, and just the way I love it.
To avoid long wait times, it’s best to arrive around 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM, as the place tends to get crowded. The service is prompt, and the ambience is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to start your day.
I would definitely recommend MDC for anyone craving a hearty, authentic South Indian breakfast. A must-visit for...
