Upahara Darshini — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Worst service ever!! We visited at night around 10pm and as we were very hungry, so we just entered this place. To my surprise the middle aged short man(carrying a tillak on his forehead) taking order, was so rude and harsh. He literally said "Jo bacha h woh kha lo warna mat khao.Yeh closing time hai, woh toh acha hai aapko aane diya warna aane bhi nahi dete." The literal translation being "Just eat whatever is left, other wise leave. Just be happy for the fact that you were allowed entering this hotel." If it wasn't for hunger, I could have confronted him right there, but I managed to ignore him somehow. More over it was peak hour for dinner but they had nothing to choose at all. Only items they had were Fried rice, dal and roti. If it was closing time(though it wasn't as it was Saturday night and many hotels run late till night which is very obvious) they could have told it in the first place as soon as we entered, but they didn't and then asked to hurry up saying kitchen is getting closed! This guy taking order said "Come on decide the order fast. I won't take it later. You can't change or cancel it." Have not seen such kind of inappropriate behaviour anywhere till now!

There were atleast 5 tables occupied at that time and all the staff people were behaving as if they have to rush home and were looking at us with "eat fast we want to wash your dishes" kind of attitude! At last, at the time of billing first transaction though card was almost done. Then again he came saying that the bill was wrong and then again I had to make the transaction! Much to our horror, they started to pack the tables, Chairs keeping them on top of each other and we could hardly get downstairs! And then coming downstairs we realised it was again too hard to get down as the floor was getting washed and we could have slipped!!! I seriously won't recommend this place to anyone because after all, you eat to feel good but here the staff treat...

Few years back their hotel catched fire I believe it's accumulation of people curse on them for serving worst quality food

Today I had been with my family around 2.45 Dining area we were asked to sit quite next to toilet So I came to self service area and decided to have food there. The place was horribly stinking. Due to the odd timings 3pm along with my aged mother I didn't want to roam around searching for another hotel hence we ordered food items

Roti given in North meals is very special it's upahara darshini black roasted roti . We managed to eat half roti and can't take more we left it When complained why they're maintaining the place unhygienic with used plates tray in middle of eating area with all left over plates piled up one on another you get to see that while eating it And also about food quality

One good thing the person is atleast humble one one query on food quality he said take some other item.. It should be appreciated but it's not the way the hotel should operate . We didn't accept any other items we lost the mood and patience to have lunch

Family with kids aged people when we're hungry coming outside with the belief a decent hotel that can be trusted to have lunch with brand name.. When they cheat people like this with worst garbage type dining. No cleanliness. No food quality..... You can think what's the big deal if you spend 500 and if it's not good what big deal but

Food items it's more than money... it's 5 rupees or 500 you should be running business to have basic food dharma when serving people....

I don't know what food inspectors are doing with this type of hotel

Avoid this hotel better eat in roadside hotels comparing to this at least you have visibility of kitchen. I wish let the history repeat itself what the agni did for this buggers...

Worst ever service I have ever seen. They spoil our whole mood of eating food, today I visited upahara darshini with my friend, we ordered for food, the guy who takes order (he was like litl aged) was making face like, as if he gonna pay money, our mood of eating was disturbed at that moment itself, YES Upahara Darshini gives food with low cost but never expect a tasty food NEVER,I seriously hate the taste of food, and even the people who was sitting beside us, rejected ice-cream vch is included in Thali, n left all food, just bcz of those service rendering people, I seriously don't understand whether they gonna pay money or We. And me n my frnd were about to order some juice n ice-cream at last after Thali, but without even asking us, they bought finger bowl n bill also, WORST WORST WORST service ever seen..is this the way to behave with customers?? ?? And when v were about to make card payment, he asked whether to add tips in dat, first of all it was a horrible food, top of dat worst workers without a single interest on work, no taste no proper service..
