Absolutely Pathetic – Starved and Insulted! DO NOT GO HERE

Swadisth Hotel near Udupi city bus stand is a disgrace to the word “hospitality.” After waiting for 45 minutes while starving, I was met with nothing but arrogance and disrespect. The waiter had the nerve to talk down to us, barking orders on where and how to sit like we were beneath him. Despite being hungry beyond belief, I didn’t even get a meal! I had no choice but to leave after being treated like garbage. This place doesn’t care about its customers or their time. If you want to avoid being insulted and starved, STAY AWAY from this terrible excuse...

"I had a terrible experience at Swadisht in Udupi. After waiting for over 30 minutes just to get a seat, we were treated extremely poorly by the staff. Despite being paying customers, we were asked to move downstairs to a non-AC area because they wanted to seat a larger group in our place. This kind of behavior is unacceptable – we were not eating for free and deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of the size of our party. I don't understand why it rated really bad on Google. We ordered lemon coriander soup, paneer tikka, and burnt garlic fried rice. The fried rice was top notch. My wife loved it like crazy and she wanted to know the recipe. The soup was spoiled with less of lemon and too much of ginger. Overall it's a decent restaurant...
