BMC Forest Theme Garden — Attraction in Mumbai

Although Rahejas had invested lot in the garden, but the caretaker employees, ticket issuer, cleaners and security had converted it into their place of relaxation as if they are not the caretaker but the owners and the visitors who pay money for tickets are nuisance and disturb their rest. The security lady started whistling very loud near my kids at 1030 AM asking us to vacate. When I requested her not to whistle near the kids she started arguing in loud voice which further scared the kids. When I asked for the complaint book, it wasnt there. Nor was contact information of the management given to me by the garden staff. Raheja management should look into it if they want to retain it as a garden. Most beautiful Forest-themed garden in Mumbai located behind Inorbit Mall in Goregaon West! The BMCs should introduce more such Forest-themed gardens all over the city as forests are the only lungs in this pollution filled city! When greedy real estate developers grab land, destroy the forests and construct buildings/offices, and then perhaps vacate the land due to high taxes, this is making Mumbai worst! Every year, there is a mass degradation in the air quality of Mumbai. The air is filled with smoke and dust particles.This mass destruction of forests all over Mumbai should stop and the government should take steps to prevent this menace. Not many people aware of this open park. Right next to Inorbit Mall entrance gate on Malad back road is this BMC garden on a small hill, well maintained n lush green. Best place for morning walk or run. Hardly you will see any people in the morning. Lesser the crowd better it is for morning walks. In the evening though you will find few people mostly couples 😉 There are few instruments installed to exercise. I guess it's almost 450-500meter long so if you take 4-5 rounds of this park it wud mean you have walked 2km+.

So finally BMC is doing one thing right is to maintain open parks well. Also the gate keepers are friendly so you can also try n get your beloved Pets inside...
