Lemon Tree Premier, Malad, Mumbai — Hotel in Mumbai

It was my friend's birthday and I wanted to make reservations for Dinner for 2 at their Citrus Cafe but wasn't sure if my friend was coming from out of town .. Spoke to the Manager Abhijeet the night prior tentatively but it was only at midnight my friend confirmed she'd come so I sent a TEXT msg requesting reservations be made as per our prior conversation at midnight before going to sleep .. Next day, I didn't even have to check again because everything was arranged exactly as per specifications and the best part, The staff went far above and beyond to make my Friend's Birthday beautiful by having a cute little Welcome ceremony for her , wishing her for her birthday with a delicious pastry cutting .. The staff were very warm, welcoming and approachable .. If I could name a few at the top of my mind would be Sneha, Bomnya, Juesh, Gwnjwn, Priti, Nachiket and above all, Abhijeet their Manager have been exceptionally well and sweet in making this Dinner to Breakfast memorable by the grace of God .. I really Thank God that I chose this place bcoz the experience was amazingly awesome .. Also FYI, I Thank God that till July 2024, I had been a Shareholder of Lemon Tree Group of Hotels bcoz it's been rewarding and also great to know that I had my money support the right kind company which will grow exponentially giving a lovely experience to all it's customers leaving them with cherishable memories .. I recently visited Lemon Tree Malad for their breakfast buffet and honestly found the experience to be quite disappointing, especially considering the reputation of the brand. The spread was very limited and did not live up to the standard one would expect from a hotel of this category. Most of the items felt repetitive and uninspired – basic breads, cereals, a couple of South Indian dishes, and a small selection of fruits. There was hardly any variety in continental or North Indian options, making the buffet feel more like a token offering than a full-fledged breakfast experience.

The quality of food also left much to be desired. The dosas and idlis were cold, the parathas were oily, and the eggs-to-order station seemed unprepared to handle even a small crowd. The juices tasted packaged rather than freshly made, and the coffee was bland. Service wasn’t very attentive either – used plates were not cleared on time, and requests had to be repeated more than once.

For the price charged, the breakfast buffet feels overpriced and underwhelming. Lemon Tree is known for decent stays and hospitality, but the Malad property needs to seriously improve its breakfast offering to match customer...

I stayed for most of September when I was in India for personal work. The staff is amazing (Rohan, Shubhangi,Chand, Aman , Namrata and others) -very friendly and supportive.

The rooms are decent for a business hotel , adequate bottles of water , prompt room service and decent laundry services.

Had a very warm and delicious breakfast at Citrus Cafe and dinner (most of the days) - The Chef and the staff were awesome.

The only request , I would have is to upgrade the wifi access (speed and no of devices) especially for visitors to India. They did upgrade for me (which I appreciate).
