What to say about this place , I visited them on the eve on Sankrant and as they have a new Thali every new day , I got to taste some new delicious food variety on that day as well . I really love and appreciate the efforts Maharaja bhog's each and every staff member takes from welcoming the customer to serving them with love and affection, they give you a homely vibe and that's something I love it whenever I have been to this place.
The food here is served in a beautiful way , truly hygienic and well maintained .They offer various things which obviously gives you alot of options in taste and that's the best thing . On the day of Sankranti we got to eat like different different types of dishes which included this - 🔅Sweets 1)Fruit Flot 2) Kesari puran poli 3) Mohan Thal halwa
🔅Farsan 1)Corn Dhokla 2) Poha sabudana cocktail

Read moreAamras season finally hit the market. Legendary restaurant @maharajabhogmumbai @teamashishmaheshwari is now offering their traditional Thali inclusive of Aamras of the season. Aamras is served entire week every day. I went to @inorbitmallmalad to dine in over this scrumptious Thali. Started off with a nice yellow looking color Welcome drink, goes down very smoothly. Strong sandalwood flavor, also had a little aroma of Anise (Saunf) too. In starters I had Dal Dhokli which I had after a long long time. It was sweet and spicy both. The Dhokli was extremely soft and finely chopped. It was melted in mouth. Had few raw mangoes in it gave you a nice sour taste in between. I had this with Palak Puri and taste best. Dhokla was extremely soft and airy. Aloo Tikki was Crispy, sabji was not over spiced. You can eat those with green chutney which loaded with mint flavor. Mains- Paneer Pasanda nice rich gravy. Cabbage Pithla - basically Pithla is a Maharashtrian dish but Cabbage in it made it so unique. Chopped onions also add a nice taste to it. Aloo Mutter Rassaaala nice red looking gravy, aloo was very soft and even Mutter too. Chawli Masala - Extremely flavorful. Had a strong taste to it. Chawli was soft again which shows that they made every dish with precision. Main Course served with Fulka Roti, Palal Puri, Cabbage Akki Roti. Everything was served hot. Try Sweet kadhi and Khichadi. I am a big fan of this combination. However the main highlight of this meal was Aamras which I lately attacked. Had with Palak Puri and yes a great move. Aamras was very thick and rich and pure too. I has Aamras in two vaatis and Maharaja Bhog served me lot of Aamras with pleasing smile. Along with this there was Mohan Thaal Halwa which reminds me of Besan Laddu. Ditto taste. Lot of cardamom in it. Definitely sweet. Loaded with ghee. Eat when it's hot and you will enjoy every bite. Honestly, I was focusing more on Aamras, I overlooked this dessert. 😅 Thali was indeed packed with delicious food. Maharaja prepare different menu everyday. If you love more desserts then visit on weekends, they serve desserts. Aamras Season is just begun and make most use of it. So...
Read moreThe worst experience on Diwali oct 20/10/2025 lunch . We entered they came to wash out hands. We excited to wait and see many starters and chutneys, fryums , and many more BUT it was worse we were given 1 piece of Dhokla , 1 piece , of bread pakoda chutney and they disappear for 20 minutes and we asking for starters ten time no one turned to our table . Then One person comes with four vegetable served cold on the thali, we still wited for starters still asking for it again and again no one turned up. Then roti pure and small very small quater part of some paratha served toghter . Still waiting for starters then the starters guy come with almost no stock left with him .I wondering what if I want more should I wait for more 1/2 hour. So I said forget let start the main course which was served cold now it is turned full cold . Because I was with my teenage girl I never wanted to create a scenes. Water was also asked by us , not a single item where and for what we didn't Waited and when it came it was cold .It seemed by 3.30 they were out of stock and the staff was not trained at all . We paid 2750 for 3 thalis and we eat only of 500 and that too pathetic service and food. After food the guy immediately came with card machine asking for bill in very awkward way You can say I'll mannered. Did he had doubt that we cannot pay them is that the reason that they didn't served our table . Oh this people don't look Gujus, panjus ,or Big shots so they took us granted . Yes we are foolish maharastrian who don't show up we like to try different cuisine and pay high amount for it. After paying their heavy bill not worth for it I spoke to their manager and told hime the entire scene He said SORRY. The worse bad word one can give us. He was at fault I am very sure it is his mismanagement that he was not able to train his staff .Guys don't waste your money on MAHARAJA BHOG it has no value for money . Atleast the INORBIT MALL outlet. Thank you staff of MAHARAJA BHOG THAT I LEARNED A LESSON FROM YOU. MAKE MAHARASTRIAN REACH RATHER THEN SOME OTHER IN STATE OF MAHARASHTRA .JAI MAHARASHTRA.OH forgot to add found a small hair on...
