Ambience - 3/5

Located inside the inorbit mall on the third floor, with a very catchy wall art (full of clocks) is easy to identify.
Ambience:
Surely it gives a very youthful vibes. Well lit ambience with soft yellow lights, wooden furnitures, with good commercial music. However, you still need to find a good corner to click a selfie or groupfie with a good backdrop. The crowd was good, and there’s no Stag entry charges even on a saturday night.
Food
Go to with our peg of Ballentine, we ordered the following ( I must say the menu looked very vibrant, the best part is, you can see what you are ordering, needless to say a very helpful menu):
Headless Chicken Platter (from the Community Eats) - I huge platter with crunchy chicken popcorn, french fries, chicken wings with tangy sauce, and crispy deep fried chicken wings. It was good for the group of four. However, I taste wasn’t upto the mark. The chicken chunks were very dry, we gulped it with the help of mayo and tomato ketchup. The tangy chicken wings were also not so great. It looked good, however it was a huge disappointment in terms of taste.
Portofino Grilled Fish - Grilled hot chilli BASA in creamy aromatic portofino sauce with mashed potato and stir fried string beans. After losing our head with headless chicken platter, this came as a saviour. Perfectly cooked two fish fillets were mouth watering. The only problem was mashed potato as it had liberal amount of salt in it which was not suitable to our taste buds.
After 5 pegs of Ballentine, I opted for Virgin Orange Mojito, which was very refreshing and became the star of the night.
Service : Not so attentive staff (may be coz of Saturday night) but, decent servicing
Definitely going back in a few days for...
Read moreI always feel tremendously excited when I get opportunity to visit places which have earlier made me crazy... and The Irish House is one of them. Like their other outlets, this one in Malad West was equally fabulous!!! They break all my records in appreciating their ambience and service. No room for miscalculations on ambience and service!!! I was there for power lunch, and had an equivalent robust experience. Totally loved their sauces for delicious, hearty and healthy food. Their menu has been carefully curated to include well-balanced and fairly portioned dishes with adequate vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
What I liked there -
Mocktails : Green Appletini - 5/5 (highly recommended)
Appetizers: Grilled Pepper Chicken - 5/5 (highly recommended) Spaghetti and Sea Food Limoni - 5/5 (highly recommended) Grilled Chermoula Prawn Tacos - 5/5 (highly recommended) Chicken Quesadillas - 5/5 (highly recommended)

Read moreI love The Irish House..This was my second visit here. They have decorated it very well.. I just keep on reading the writings on the wall. At first I thought there will be a large hole in my pocket if I even think of going.. But boy is it affordable or what (phew).. I usually don't have beers but my friend has made me love them. As it was weekend, the house was pretty full and we got a corner table. I thought it would be no fun but i had a clear view of the full house. Whilst we were deciding what to order, we were confused with the long list of beers n spirits and what not. Our server even gave us a small glass of Erdinger to try. But we thought of sticking to Kingfisher. As it was happy hours, we ordered 1+1 kingfisher 1ltr beer. It came in a barrel. I never tried that n it was something new. Amazing experience with the beer. For appetizers we ordered Fish n Chips which i wanted to try since long. The crust of fish was very crispy and the fries had just the right amount if spices. They also serve mashed peas with it but as i don't like peas i asked the server if he could replace it and to our amazement he just increased the amount of fries and deleted the peas.. They have a smoking area outside too. This is a must visit if you are in a mood to booze. I am going to try some cocktails the next time that i go.. (which...
