Sakira Da dhaba — Hotel in Mumbai

I am going to write a very honest review about this. I totally understand the day when I went during Diwali, the crowd is high so there are bound to be service issues but what happened with me was beyond that. Il try to narrate this in as short as possible:

So we went at around 8:35 pm on a lovely Friday at this place. To start with, we ordered a dahi puri which came after approximately 15 mins. The puri was all sogged up bec it was prepared few minutes in advance but it took time to reach us. Never the less, it was good.

After that we moved on to order main course, I asked the waiter, what comes in Veg Makhani? The waiter said I don't know il go down and check. He comes up and tells me Veg Makhani mai Veg Makhani aata hai. Then I said are you sure this is your answer? Then he replied il call the owner up for order.

The owner comes up (at around 9:10pm) and without checking with his team on which guests came first, he started taking orders randomly, came to us last without being informed or aware that we were amongst the first ones to sit there amongst all tables.

Then, approx 9:50 i.e almost after 45 mins from our actual order time, the waiter comes up and serves our veg food to the wrong table who had ordered Non Vegetarian food.

Approx 9:55, the manager/chef don't know who he was but a guy comes up and apologizes for the goof up. Since our vegetable was served to another plate, I refused to take that vegetable for obv reasons. Then I told them to bring Paneer Methi Malai to which the guy said yes surely, and we waited another 15 mins.

Some of the people who had came after us, even finished their dinners and went while we were still waiting to see some food on our table.

Around 10-10:05, the waiter brings the same vegetable which we had ordered earlier, which went to the wrong table, the owner comes up and tells us this is a fresh one and you can have this, paneer methi malai will take another 10-15mins. . . Finaly after arriving here at 8:45, I in all my frustration stood up at around 10:10 and left the restaurant telling the owner what's our fault buddy that we are being made to suffer like this?

The owner did not even said sorry nor did he even told us once to stop and wait owning his mistake. His arrogance was quite visible, he chose to ignore us when we decided to walk away paying the Dahi Puri and Water Bill.

I really had high hopes from this place, I had argued with my frnd to come to this place instead of Bhagat Tarachand which is right opposite to this place.

With restaurant running full on that particular day, Goof ups and service issues are still acceptable however the owner's arrogance or ignorance of not even apologizing for making us sit for one hour without serving food was the final nail in the straw. The one star is completely for my bad experience and not for the food since I did not got a chance only to eat food there. Even after all this, I still wish the best for them bec they have invested good money in setting up the restaurant, the ambience and I don't want to ill...

would rather give a negative rating as well.. I had been there today at 9.15 pm... I consulted one of the waiters over there regarding the tables and writing the names for waiting but he told me there's none... One couple was waiting before us so next we will get the table.. another group came after us n we didn't notice n they were sent before us saying that they noted their name first...wen I questioned that we had come first.... The man straight away said u will go after them ...we were like after waiting for almost 45 mins....ppl who came later gets a table in ten mins .....highly unprofessional place... Will not...

Worst service I have seen so far in my life. Table wasn't cleaned for first 15 mins and we felt like walking out but couldn't go anywhere as it was post 10 pm. The order came pretty late but still there were no plates on the table. Whatever we asked..spoons, water bottle..took minimum 10 mins to come. Out of 3 dishes we ordered, two had extra salt in them. This was first time we went out to dine after covid and this restaurant made sure our mood is completely spoiled. Won't recommend to anyone. Would suggest restaurent to hire some experienced employees from hotel industry so customers...
