I had the worst experience and can’t believe Sephora standards are so low. I bought few products from goregaon branch, when I opened the Bobby brown foundation bottle at home, the nozzle was broken and not spring loaded. I called the Ctc number mentioned for a week like 50 times no one picked up. So I visited the branch and informed them about the issue. They provided 2 emails wherein I escalated the issue further. No reply. Then I sent DM to instagram page and they provided one more email address. This went on for a month. Then finally one day I received a call from goregaon branch, they said that again I have to send a picture so that they can verify and escalate it further. I told them that I had visited the shop and the guy at the counter had already seen the bottle which can’t be fixed. Still I sent the picture, their solution was that I get the bottle one more time, they don’t have the same color shade so they will remove the nozzle from a different shade, they will wash it and fix it on my bottle. This entire situation handling took 7 weeks, the shop staff is highly unprofessional they themselves don’t know the email address for their own escalation teams, escalation team is useless as at the end of the end I had to visit the shop to verify the broken bottle. Now I have decided not to visit this shop ever again and I kept the Bobby brown foundation in plastic tin. Firstly your brand is selling defective products then you expect the customer to waste their time, money and energy to write multiple mails and make multiple calls and visit your shop multiple times. Read moreVisited the store on dec 29th 2024, and purchased a Clinique foundation. The rep was very helpful however what disappointed me is they gave me a foundation that was about to expire in 5 months. So I pay 4K to them and they give me a foundation that I can use for 5 months. The batch on the carton was 6/22 and it was mentioned to use within 36 months. When I informed the staff they informed me it’s okay to use beyond the expiring as they themselves use the product at the store. Also when I asked them if they can replace with a new batch I was told this was the last box.
Then I raised a complaint with their online customer support and it’s been a week they are just passing time by stating they have escalated the matter. Now today when I spoke to customer care they tell me I can exchange only within 7 days and when I told her from day one I had been infoming about the issue and no action is taken so as a customer how am I responsible for the product sold to me which is expiring in few months. As a customer I am so disappointed. I WOULD NEVER TRUST SEPHORA AGAIN BECAUSE THEY ARE OKAY SELLING PRODUCTS TO CUSTOMERS THAT ARE EXPIRING AND THEY ALSO MISLEAD SAYING IT CAN BE USED BEYOND EXPIRY DATE. So I visited the branch and informed them about the issue and asked for CCTV footage And what they have told us is you need to coordinate with mall’s team but my point why would I coordinate with mall when it happened inside the store.
